Tesla package works out 500 to 800 more expensive for the same tires you get at other places. It's the wheels that you cannot get elsewhere. But reading about curb rash maybe I should go for aftermarket wheels anyway.

I want the Michelins too, they have been out of stock forever at Tesla Canada. And they do cost 3700 at Tesla, but you are getting the OEM wheel as well.

Correct. They have same performance now. But I was talking about future-proofing. A2Z says it is up to 150kW. On Tesla Canada store, it is rated at 250kW. See screenshot.

The Tesla North American CCS1 adapter is rated at 250kW. Even though that rating may not be usable at present, it appears to be more future-proof than the aftermarket ones.

Today is installation day. This is the cable being used from panel to 14-50 socket. Can the electrical experts weigh in on the cable quality etc?

I like Michelin X-Ice. Good grip and they last a long time. Some others may have better grip but wear out very fast. Mind you, this is from my experience on ICE cars. Still waiting for MYLR delivery and researching like you!
