Tesla is coming tomorrow to swap out my dying 12v battery. I have lowering links on my car with air suspension. Does anyone know if swapping the 12v resets ride height?

They wont even schedule the emmc replacement though, that is what I was trying to do. They just keep saying "the logs don't show anything" like what are they expecting the log to show? It's a hardware failure lol. Everything is going to report normally.

My MCU1 is on the way out, black screens/constant reboots, no audio and turn signal audio stops working. I submitted a request to my service center and all they say is "The logs show no unusual activity" and refuse to take any action. Am I stuck waiting for the recall at this point?

Standard LCD is going to be 60hz but they probably use PWM for dimming. Setting the display to 100% brightness should get rid of it.

Model 3 gets better with every update. Model S gets worse with every update. Feels bad. My battery cooling pumps never used to run before unless I charged >90%, now about 80% they kick on and stay on, extremely annoying. I just plugged my car in at 79% and I immediately heard them kick on.

I was previously unaffected by the original update that screwed everyone’s range but was affected by reduce charging speed. My 100% was 267 and 90% was 240. After 40.2.3 my 100% is 264 and 90% is 237. I don’t have anything to check voltage or charge levels so I’m not claiming capped yet, but...

I don't even care about a fee but the biggest joke is charging MCU1 the same price as MCU2. The largest bandwidth hogs are going to be streaming video and the browser which MCU1 has neither. Tesla get your head out of your ass and charge MCU1 $5 a month or something if you insist on charging a fee.

I don't know for sure but I don't see any reason why they would reverse how they've been advertising 0-60 for performance and non performance for years.

They still list the non Ps without rollout. So 85D vs P85D both with rollout, P85D is ~3.2 and 85D would be ~3.9. Without rollout 85D is ~4.2 (as Tesla states) and P85D would be ~3.5.

My MCU1 started doing random reboots recently. Last night on the drive home it rebooted 3 times in 20 minutes. I turned the car off via the display and let it sit for a few hours, so far it's good but hopefully not a sign of failure. Still under warranty at least.

There was someone else on here, I cant remember who it was, but their air suspension was bugged and stuck in jack mode, they had to have service reset the ride height. If you end up having to do this make sure you remove the brackets otherwise they will reset it with the lowering brackets on and...

When you installed these did you set your air suspension to very high and turn on jack mode? I did some 3d printed lowering links instead but is even from front to back.

The OEM spoiler is fully flat all around the base. With the lip around the base on that it seems like it wouldn't make great contact unless that 3m adhesive is thick.

I used one of these to swap out my winter tires yesterday. Absolutely priceless, if you ever need to lift your car don’t hesitate to pick one of these up.

The ability to raise/lower the car is priceless. The only con would be once you are out of warranty its potentially more expensive if one goes out on you. If you are into lowering your car at all you can do it cheap with some 3d printed lowering links vs having to buy new springs.
