The Ups and Downs (not just elevation) of a First Real Road Trip MYP '22 - 1,400+ mi. trip

Would certainly do a trip that’s a few hundred miles but nothing to this extent again in the car until I felt better about it… would take the wife’s car but the Audi Q3 seats are a bit tight imo

The Ups and Downs (not just elevation) of a First Real Road Trip MYP '22 - 1,400+ mi. trip

No diagnosis… I canceled my trip in to the shop. All of the errors stopped two days after getting home. It’s been about a month now and no errors again. I had the appointment set (I asked if they would look over software and stuff they could over the internet and they said they would but never...

The Ups and Downs (not just elevation) of a First Real Road Trip MYP '22 - 1,400+ mi. trip

Bought it straight from Tesla. I had to set up a notification for when it was back in stock as it was sold out. Took about a week, then could order it.

The Ups and Downs (not just elevation) of a First Real Road Trip MYP '22 - 1,400+ mi. trip

Its a Mag Safe iPhone Mount. It comes with a stick-on metallic ring you can put on the radar detector, so it connects to the magnet. The first one I tried didn't stick well, so I tried with another one. This one worked...

What mount is this for the Valentine One(Second Gen)?

Do you have one that works with g1. Looks great and better than the phone mount I’m using.

The Ups and Downs (not just elevation) of a First Real Road Trip MYP '22 - 1,400+ mi. trip

Dallas, TX to Santa Fe & Taos, NM and back. 1,434 miles over Labor Day Weekend. Just figured I'd share my experience... Dedicated to those who care... Car: Model Y Performance, 21" wheels, Midnight Grey, Black Interior... 15% window tint on the front sides (proper matching on rear) and 75%...

What mount is this for the Valentine One(Second Gen)?

I have a gen 1 V1. I used a iphone mount with a mag safe holder, then attached the medal rings to the bottom of the V1 that come with it (to make non mag safe phone compatible). Paired that with the 6 foot non coil wire and pushed it under some body panels to get to the cigarette charger in the...

    Tinting Front Windshield

My tint shop gave me clear window clings (little rectangles you can cut to size). Put the sicker on window cling and window cling on the tinted windshield. Used this for my Tolltag and registration sticker.

2022 Model Y Performance - Dallas to Austin Roadtrip*

$16.32 for the 40% to 90% for the return trip. $13.60 when I put some in on the way down. That's $0.34/kwh vs. $0.17/kwh that I pay at home.

2022 Model Y Performance - Dallas to Austin Roadtrip*

Thank you for the advice. Friday (201 miles) - Charged it up to 100%, started the drive, the car said we needed 15 minutes in Waco. As we got into the trip it changed, and said we would arrive with 11% or 12% with no need to stop. I was going 80-85 on autopilot whenever their wasn't traffic...

2022 Model Y Performance - Dallas to Austin Roadtrip*

Supper helpful to look at this on the in car nav. vs. the Tesla Trip planner and ABRP. And a helpful way to think about energy efficiency. I've been an ICE guy my whole life and can get there and back going 85 on one tank, albeit that's $100+ these days. It initially puts the charging stop in...

2022 Model Y Performance - Dallas to Austin Roadtrip*

New to this community, new to Tesla and new to EVs. I took delivery of my Tesla Model Y Performance a couple weeks ago and have put ~260 miles on it. I'll be stretching its legs for the first time tomorrow taking it from Dallas to Austin. I searched quite a few posts, but couldn't get the answer...
