Another Tesla service center experience and warning for those doing their own suspension work

So the wire became faulty from this, because of the stretching that was happening over time? Did that just short out the sensor so it needed to be replaced too?

    Sway Bar Issues?

This is all good info. Any update/resolution?

Noise issues with Unplugged Performance Mild Springs.

Glad no issues so far. UP keeps telling me that my "replacement" springs are delayed indefinitely because of what sounds like supply chain issues. Doesn't make sense that you can just go on the website and buy springs that correct the problems. Also, UP says that the binding noise issue...

    Just venting over “first scratch”

I have a detail and wheel repair shop near my house that has completely erased 2 damaged rims just like yours. It was $130. Perfect paint match and blending. So repair is possible and reasonable if it bugs you.

Noise issues with Unplugged Performance Mild Springs.

Same thing here with UP mild lowering springs. Very frustrating because they can't seem to figure out a fix. Loud binding noise when turning at slow speeds. Because I am nowhere near the UP shop, every time I need to do work on the springs I am paying a local performance shop rates. After...

Model Y Perf or BMW X3M?

If Tesla could get material quality and build in line with those Audi vehicles you mentioned...🔥🔥🔥 I would love some high quality leather with contrast stitching on my seats and doors, and all the ergonomics of those high end luxury rides. I think they could do that while still maintaining the...

Model Y Perf or BMW X3M?

I think this is a very accurate assessment. I am a 3 owner, not Y, but the build quality is very, very average at best. Not anywhere on par with a luxury automaker, but the 3 & Y are not luxury vehicles and I think they draw a bit different consumer.

Problem with My Model 3 and the fix.

My 2020 PM3 is currently in Tesla for this same issue I believe. It is currently "waiting for parts".

Tire Recommendation - Quietest all season?

Thanks for the link. Very interesting and looking forward to some reviews, specifically on the PM3.

Looking for some straight answers on Model 3 Performance Tires

What is your stock tire? I have a P3D and it came with the 20" wheels and Pilot Sport 4s.

    New Noob Owner- Necessary accessories?

Paint correction, PPF, ceramic coating. My paint job is fragile as hell. Worth it if you want to keep your car looking new for a long time.

    My Car Seems Slower

What beat you from a light!?! What is the 0.1% vehicle?

What did you name your Tesla?

Nice! My wife always names our vehicles just for fun. When I drove my M3P home for the first time she called it "Beastie". So that stuck.

    My Car Seems Slower

I second all of this. I have had my M3P since Sept 2020, and I think our bodies get a bit used to it and you subconsciously adjust to the forces, making it not feel as dramatic as it once did. Until recently I had never ridden shotgun in my car, but then let my dad drive it and do a full...
