That is what we have for select Supercharger sites in UK and Europe. Pretty expensive for my FIAT500e, but in Dundee most times I go there half the people charging are non TESLA now. Lots of small trade vans such as Nissans or Renaults.

IDRA supply globally but that does not change the fact that a new product that is co-developed with an external partner would be available on the free market immediately. It would be bad business practice to have this being the case. I would imagine the 9000T press would make it as generally...

Having your own Powerwall and EV on the line would certainly minimise this. Happy for my inverter to shut off if voltage goes high. That is where it should be managed rather than limiting local PV capacity. Adding storage to the substations to provide load would help.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Tesla worked with IDRA to develop the 9000T press. I doubt that IDRA would have negotiated freedom to operate required for the second instance going to another company.

Octopus software not really totally supplier agnostic: Octopus Intelligent works well with my Model 3, but does not work at all with my FIAT500e. It is cheaper to use council chargers than charge my 500e at home :-(

In UK the cost of electrification of the lines has been a major hurdle. Your ideas are where I was going. I would imagine the overhead lines for a battery powered train could be a matter of a few hundred yards (not miles) either side of a station. This would be more than enough to power the...

Do not think the world is ready for a single corporate only owned robotaxi fleet. The money printing from the Tesla network purchases will be insane, and the Robofleet will be funded in a wedge fashion from this. Having mass ownership of the Tesla Network keeps it more tolerable in society, but...

Also Elon Musk has reported that they are working with Apple to get the iphone 14s working with the regular starlink feed, The iphone 14 is the first with satellite connectivity. Bit of a major feature methinks. Mine is on order.

That is a missleading summary of what happened. The oncoming car had paused to let the ego car go, but then changed mind at same time as the ego car took them up on said offer. This was a very sophisticated interaction, and is seen in several of Chucks turns, where the ego car does act on cars...

I think the easiest retrofit/improvement would be an additional side/forward facing camera on the repeater mount. This high res dual camera could plug into existing body hole and loom with signal multiplexing through the one cable. The fact that they are fusing to single views probably makes...

At the ferry terminals of Ardrossan, Cairnryan and Wemyss Bay would be useful. One on the M77 woud be great (Preferably Dutch corner). I find the Chargepoint Scotland network in Ayrshire pretty good though.

Hardware is NOT that easy. But Tesla has the FSD HW3 (or maybe even HW4 at this point) compute hardware that is small and power saving so that you do not need a humanoid with a humungous backpack.

The MACHE was already known to have a very poor sustained power output and had a very short cap of rated power ( a few seconds) This would suggest the connectors are massively under specced.

Hi JB. We had an exchange regarding the competency of Stellantis to make EVs a while back. Here is my capitulation on that conversation. A Fiat500e convertible charging at a supercharger bought for the wife. The car is great but the software REALLY sucks. Managed to get charging at 75Kw...

I guess these have been chosen for distribution and also these are less busy chargers as far as I can tell in the North. Stayed clear of the ones with the least availability. My local Dundee and Aviemore are good choices as they are not highly used and there are busier and better ones nearby...

It will be based on cybertruck based on his reference to the futuristic look. Also will be an even easier job for stainless steel, and no painting, durability required for the Robotaxi makes a lot of sense.

Surely the next model 3 line would be the 4680 plaid performance cabriolet ? Therein lies the true advantage of the structural pack. I WANT one.
