Charging now. Not all stalls appear to work, and those that do work don’t seem to be getting to V3 levels yet. Still work in progress, but good to have this new Supercharger in Cranberry. The old one was getting too crowded.

What's the typical production-to-delivery time in China?

I was trying to make sense of all those December price discounts both in the US and in China, and potential Tesla factory shutdowns at the end of the year... I think the explanation is simple: Tesla is about to make some significant hardware changes in January, perhaps release the Autopilot...

It looks like they pushed most locations to Q2. Oh well... :( I wonder if there will be any V4 chargers in Ohio built next year.

I stopped at that GetGo last night. No signs of construction yet. But there is plenty of unused parking space around the building. That’s unlike the Sheetz location across the street that doesn’t have much parking space left and already has Electrify America chargers on site.

I drove by in the west-bound direction today. The Superchargers are still behind the fence.

And by the way, we don’t know for sure if there will be a sub-$55K LR. Maybe it will be some MR flavor instead, with slightly smaller battery. And perhaps a much more expensive LR that doesn’t qualify for the tax credit. Or just Performance LR.

The $55K limit is based on the MSRP of the vehicle. I assume that’s the MSRP associated with particular VIN and stated on the Monroney sticker. I think it will be possible to add some additional options at delivery on top of the MSRP: upgrade the wheels, add the EAP or FSD, etc. There are...

I was in the area last month and checked Sheetz on Rt. 306, as a possible Supercharger location. Nope! That one has Electrify America, so I don't think it will have Tesla Supercharger.

While other NE Ohio locations have been pushed back to 2023, Mentor is still listed as "Q4 2022"

I was there a few days ago, didn't notice anything. Tesla list this location as "Target opening in Q2 2023"

North Canton would work too! We need a Supercharger close to the Akron-Canton Airport!

The Meeting has exceeded my expectations! To me, the factory tour alone was worth making this trip! Some photos from the event (where it was allowed to take pictures):

Destination chargers had a sign “for authorized use only”. There was no such sign at the Superchargers. But that was back in May, I don’t know if they added something by now.

They didn't have any sign like that when I charged there. Have they installed it lately?

Tesla Supercharger map currently lists Aron, OH as “target opening in Q4 2022”. While we already have a Supercharger at the new Akron Tesla Service Center, I don’t think that’s the one! That 2-stall Supercharger is mostly intended for the Service Center use and is not even listed on the Tesla...

I mean, technically it is accessible to public. I charged there. It’s just mostly intended for internal use during business hours, so it’s not advertised.

Since this is not an official Supercharger location (not shown on Tesla Supercharger map), I think we should rename this thread to "Supercharger - Akron, OH (at Tesla Service Center)". I think there will be another Akron Supercharger coming in the near future.

While EVgo has been installing Tesla charging connectors at some locations in California and select other states sine 2019, this appears to be the first and so far the only Tesla-compatible EVgo DC fast charger in the entire Midwest, according to the PlugShare map.

I think we should rename this thread to "EVgo Tesla fast charger - Mayfield Heights, OH"

While this is not a Supercharger, this EVgo charger does have Tesla DC 50 kW charging! It’s implemented through a built-in CHAdeMO adapter. I don’t have an EVgo account, so I haven’t tried it.

I sent them a question about that, but haven't heard back. I really hope we'll have at least glimpse of the factory, since we are there anyway.

If I remember correctly, they had a price reduced locked-down version in Canada, but they didn't allow unlocking... Likely for legal concerns.

The way it stands now, the Model 3 LR doesn’t qualify for the new tax credit. I wonder if Tesla is going to re-introduce a Mid-range version or find some other way to bring the price down to under $55K. One way or another, I think we'll see a $54,990 Model 3 if the Tax credit is passed the way...

So, this year's Shareholder Meeting is titled "Cyber Roundup" on the invitation. Is that how the annual meeting will now be referred to moving forward? Or is that the theme of this particular event in 2022? What do you guys think?
