Keep giving people false hope that judicial system is a slam dunk… not as easy a process as the handful of jailhouse lawyers are peddling on here. Go the arbitration route it’s their best bet and no cost to owners.
But it doesn’t have the teeth to get you any real money… just a small claims decision that is only the start of the real process. You’ll need a real lawyer to attempt to get paid on the SC judgement as Tesla will appeal the judgement to GDC. You’ll be hard pressed to find any lawyer to take a...
Small claims court doesn’t have authority in most states to compel a paid judgement… only a piece of paper to take it to next level. In order to actually get the money from a judgment you’ll have to put on big boy/girl/NB pants and file a General District Court case, litigate it with lawyers...
I think Tesla is trying to convey that you personally have to register the vehicle in PA… they won’t do it for you except in the states listed. I would use the email chain for the delivery that you have previously received to ask the question… they answer back pretty quick.
I would agree if you are specifically talking about FSD… Tesla has done updates to hardware if it’s needed… and will continue as needed to make FSD a reality.
Regarding your construction analogy… sounds like you haven’t built many homes. If you fix price a home (with your closet example) then...
OTA updates can’t fix a shortfall in hardware… the expectation that you will receive free hardware because it was promised is asinine. Did your purchase contract say specifically you would be able to get new hardware when it was available? The answer is NO.
The problem is that people on here...
For a cost… nothing free
i paid just shy of $100K for my RR… and when it was delivered it had all the bells/whistles “available at that time”… when the next years model came out it had better “bells/whistles”… I wasn’t crying like a petulant child asking for the new toys. If you had $100K to...
I don’t remember ever getting a “free” upgrade in my other vehicles when the latest and greatest “toy” comes available. My Range Rover dealer wanted $350 to update my nav database each year… came out with bigger screens, etc. As a Tesla stock holder I don’t want them giving anything away for free.
Yes… I showed a difference of a $1.50 on my account when I was at delivery and trying to “accept” on the app… rep said let me check and said they were off by a dollar or so and I could pay the difference in app… easy.
I do too… they didn’t provide the service you paid for… I’d go into the SC and speak with the manager, worst case get refund for inspection to use towards new discs.
Yes, regardless of all the Bs you’ll get on here you can refuse delivery at the pickup location. Just make sure you don’t select “accept delivery” on the Tesla app until you’re satisfied.
Enjoy the car and don’t get all wound up before delivery based on this forum.
No comparison between a M3 and MS/X for driving experience, comfort, or
Just curious why someone who rid themselves of Tesla vehicles still finds it appealing to be on a Tesla forum… seems a bit desperate. Try this instead… BMW i4 Forum
This truck is a beast! Big issue I see is what happens when something breaks while on the road? It’s going to take along time to train mechanics to fix and have spare parts on hand… time is money for truckers.

Cars out of warranty… you are responsible for any repairs once you are 1 mile or 1 day past the expiration. This is what all other car manufacturers agree to also… why would anyone reasonably expect Tesla to extend the warranty ?
I don’t see the OP ever getting a Tesla and being happy with it… two of my neighbors have new model Xs and the types of gaps described are pretty normal on their cars also.
Looks like the Jeep driver was going to make a run for it until the happy snaps started… he didn’t want a hit and run charge… lucky for you the guy was diligent and took picks and stood there. If you use USAA ask your claim adjuster if they will contact and bill the other insurance company...
Yes… if you’re texting I'm honking. Never understood why the sheep sit at a green light behind someone who’s texting and unaware… drivers waiting are frustrated for sure… but not willing to alert the other driver to look up.
They’ll just put paper tags good for 30 days and send you on your way… make sure they don’t charge you sales tax. You’ll pay that when you register it.
