POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Only way they will resolve this after almost 3 years of production since the car was released is Class Action. Nothing else will force Tesla to address the issue. Get it started and I'll be the first to sign up.

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

good luck, i have 2 and both vibrate one worse than the other. last time i'll be buying a tesla that is for sure

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

tesla wont ever let it get that far to a lemon law scenario, they are pretty good at avoiding any accountability that makes them culpable in a lemon law case. The steering wheel material peeling is a perfect example. I still believe the only way this will get fixed is by someone filing a class...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

At this point a fix is likely not in their roadmap. If you start the class action ill sign up :)

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

I don't think they have any interest in solving this problem, from all the excuses I have heard and even discussions i have had with the SC reps. If they do anything it will be the latter, remember the HVAC whistle vent issue b/c of poor design. They just updated the SW so you can't turn off the...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

The only way at this point after all these reports by users Tesla will fix this problem is by a class action lawsuit forcing them to act. No guarantee there either but if there is a class action lawsuit it would not surprise me

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

so no real solution yet. i have noticed the vibration has got more obvious as the miles have increased now at 6k it is obvious every drive in the morning at low speeds in the neighborhood I see no point in going into a service center they know less the most on this thread.

    Charge door not opening

with SW updates it has got better but it will never be fixed b/c of the poor design in the first place

    Yoke peeling

CA has a lemon law, not sure if the same applies elsewhere, he just recently had to change a customers yoke and they had to pay out of pocket bc Tesla changed their policy at least in Ca.

SC master tech. It's a new policy apparently

What should my ideal charge percentage be?

The general rules apply to Li most people don't know the basics. You can't treat you car like your cell phone if you want it to last

    2022 MODEL S PLAID - Cosmetic disaster

Pretty sad poor quality is synonyms with a car this fast.
  14. A

    Yoke peeling

Tesla is no longer replacing these under wear and tear due to lemon law. That's what the tech told me last week. Nothing but quality from Tesla on 150k+ car

Under 35 I can tell all day long now on this new Plaid shame.

Li has been around for a long time battery university has some good general info for what nominal values are.

    Snippiness 2.0

No offense, but a child can take classes to get certified as a scrum master. It does not make you the expert or authority to placate Tesla's poor release practice. Are you a SW Developer? Are you familiar with the V-Model? If you are than what I said prior should make sense to you. Scrum...

    Snippiness 2.0

The absurdity of your claim garners a second response. You lumping Cisco, which is the backbone infrastructure of America from small to large companies into the same category as Tesla is unimaginable. I'm sorry it really does show your ignorance. You think any company would put up with buggy...

    Snippiness 2.0

You clearly don't have any background because you left out critical steps in the process which would mitigate this mess we...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

You may be better off waiting like me to allow them to field and have others beta test and wonder what else broke and if it's a new HW problem or new SW bug to chase down. Just pathetic, any professional SW company who cares about their reputation would not allow this to go on, but Elon is too...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

How sad they are on rev 5 of the build, this if nothing proves the lack of testing since this is just a bug fix build.

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

You have a lot of faith in Tesla engineering to follow industry standard practices. They can't put out a FW release without introducing another bug, their bug fix release has new bugs. It's almost as if they are not going beyond unit testing and if they are it is minimal at best. Agile release...

Don't worry it will stop working again soon enough
  25. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

They will run the standard service tests which have nothing to do with the receiver and suggest either replacement if it doesn't function or do absolutely nothing. Unfortunately this is just a piss poor decision to use COTS receiver without some FSHH tied to the Rx and Tx to avoid RF collision...

Can’t open charge port with wall charger

It's such a hit or miss. I just had mine replaced and one day after it is not working again. Their RX must be some piece of *sugar* for this to happen. They should have for the wall connectors at least setup the ability to sync and freq hop to each other bc it is unusable in this architecture and...

Can’t open charge port with wall charger

I don't believe this is just car issue, this is a combination of RF and receiver related issues after my testing. It is more prone on the 2022 S/X models with the new Gen 3 wall connectors. And if you have more then one vehicle in a driveway or garage the problem gets even worse.
  28. A

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

Your argument is completely invalid for the reasons I already explained in my previous posts. I'm not going to debate common sense and hypotheticals with you. It is pretty clear you don't have a cyber or SW background. Carry on
  29. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

Understand, the wand button won't work on Gen 3 unless car is unlocked same goes for removing the wand. In this case with the newer 2022 s and x it is new issues compared to other models and years
  30. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

Yep car is unlocked, thanks for the tip
  31. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

The 2022 S and X share a lot of common parts including charge port so I'm willing to bet in typical lazy Tesla fashion they didn't have the foresight to account for more than one refresh X or S side by side in a driveway and there is RF interference in some cases. I've also had just one car one...
  32. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

UMC does not work, I'm not sure about older models but with the refresh S and X I'm pretty confident there if RF related issues with the receiver.
  33. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

Copy that, I've gone through all the regressions trying any anecdotal way possible to test it. It is just unreliable and inexcusable IMO
  34. A

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

Grasping at straws they came up with security concerns. Reality is at any given time there is half a dozen builds available with only a small percentage of cars with the most updated release. If there is a real vulnerability, it won't be an optional update, nor would they allow owners to skip...
  35. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

That's a negative, I think your thinking of opening the trunk and pointing the wand to the charge port from inside opening the door. It does not matter. This is not an HF antenna issue out of the blue.
  36. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

I don't follow your question. I am talking about the wand on the gen 3 wall connector.
  37. A

At least yours open, this is just inexcusable
  38. A

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

That is a valid point on non updated MCU, but nothing they can't resolve by simply looking at the CSCI or SVD to determine what MCU was updated in the release and download the prior version OTA. If capacity is an issue get rid of these absurd games no one plays, although im sure most of the...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

I have both a new S plaid and X. If it is not this it is other issues they cause. This latest release was a "bug fix" release, just like all the other prior releases they introduced new bugs. It is beyond frustrating when you spend this kind of money to have to play a game of cat and mouse...
  40. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

All Telsa need to be awake and unlocked for wand to work. My new Plaid is even worse same behavior but less reliable
  41. A

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

The issue is there have been no SW updates and all of a sudden it stops working. It is a game of cat and mouse trying to figure out if it's a HW problem or a SW bug when you do an update. It's just frustrating all around and not what I signed up for with Tesla
  42. A

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

I have already contacted the SC manager and they are aware of the issue. Nothing they can do other than feed my feedback on downgrading to the developers. In reference to downgrading that is no more or less difficult than a new release. There is no need to regression test an old release...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

Utter absurdity we can't roll back SW and have to deal with this after just doing an update and coming on here to find out I'm not the only one. f you Tesla

Model X charge door and Gen 3 Wall connector not working RF interference

It is beyond frustrating when things don't work. Charge door not opening

My new S Plaid is just an unreliable and now both cars don't work. On the same Software too where it worked prior so it's not a SW issue in my case and the 2 new Gen 3 wall connectors same SW. The HW is just as unreliable as the SW when it comes to Tesla on this issue.
