CA has a lemon law, not sure if the same applies elsewhere, he just recently had to change a customers yoke and they had to pay out of pocket bc Tesla changed their policy at least in Ca.

I don't believe this is just car issue, this is a combination of RF and receiver related issues after my testing. It is more prone on the 2022 S/X models with the new Gen 3 wall connectors. And if you have more then one vehicle in a driveway or garage the problem gets even worse.

The 2022 S and X share a lot of common parts including charge port so I'm willing to bet in typical lazy Tesla fashion they didn't have the foresight to account for more than one refresh X or S side by side in a driveway and there is RF interference in some cases. I've also had just one car one...

UMC does not work, I'm not sure about older models but with the refresh S and X I'm pretty confident there if RF related issues with the receiver.

All Telsa need to be awake and unlocked for wand to work. My new Plaid is even worse same behavior but less reliable

My new S Plaid is just an unreliable and now both cars don't work. On the same Software too where it worked prior so it's not a SW issue in my case and the 2 new Gen 3 wall connectors same SW. The HW is just as unreliable as the SW when it comes to Tesla on this issue.
