Sirius XM Upgrades with last software update

Thanks for the confirmation, DerbyDave. What I mostly direct tune for is to listening to sporting events. I look at the guide for an event I want to listen to, and previously would direct tune. I’m guessing that eventually, they’ll bring direct tune back for Sirius XM. But very thankful for...

    New Sirius XM Interface

Sorry, but I still don’t see Direct Tune for Sirius XM.

Sirius XM Upgrades with last software update

Is Direct Tune on the vertical menu along with favorites and categories? What software version do you have? I got another update yesterday, and still no direct tune. Reboot does not help. Still no direct tune since the update.

Sirius XM Upgrades with last software update

I received 2020.28.6 the other day. The big change was adding Sirius XM station icons and album art. That’s great, and a long awaited update, however the software upgrade removed the ability to direct tune a station. Have any other Sirius XM subscribers noticed this? Hopefully it will be...

    2019.32.12.1

Installed this morning. Have no idea what improvements or bug fixes are. Notes are same as last three V10 updates.

    AP1/MCU1 and Software V10

Make that 4 times. Is this happening to anyone else?

    AP1/MCU1 and Software V10

I got notified of a software update 3 times in the course of one and half weeks. Turned out to be the same V10 each time.

    Sunroof Opens unknowingly

Could be. I'll have a look when back in my car. Perhaps, if that's the case, I'm inadvertently touching it upon exiting vehicle, causing sunroof to open. Thanks for the reply. I've had my Tesla since January, and continuing to learn things it does, or can happen, mostly from forums like this.

    Sunroof Opens unknowingly

From time to time, I'll notice that my sunroof is partially open at the vent position. Not that awful, except this morning it was pouring rain. I exited my car and ran to cover. A coworker later told me that my sunroof was partially open, at which time a went to my Tesla app and closed it...

    Paint Protection/Scratch Resistance

Thanks all for your responses. I did hook up with a local dealer, highly recommended, in fact I personally know of an owner of many high end vehicles (Tesla included) who has all his expensive cars worked on at the recommended dealer. Furthermore, in reading the forums, I see where some FL...

    Paint Protection/Scratch Resistance

There’s a local, highly recommended, shop right here in Sarasota that does PPF. I’m going to stop by there on Monday. Thanks for your suggestion and expression of sympathy.

    Paint Protection/Scratch Resistance

Much to my disappointment and chagrin, I noticed a scratch on the trunk/hatchback lid of my 3 month old Model S. Couldn’t buff it out, which means it went through the paint. Which leads to me wonder how many layers of paint Tesla uses and if there’s any clear coat protection. Obviously...

Vast discrepancies in volume between audio sources

BT volume on my iPhone is at maximum. But the built in streaming services are the ones that need to be boosted, and there’s no setting to accomplish that.

Vast discrepancies in volume between audio sources

I wish this gets addressed by the software developers, sooner rather than later. Quite annoying.

    Software Update 2019.12.x

Not that I’m aware of. Just got the alert on my phone overnight.

    Software Update 2019.12.x

    Updating mine right now.

Autosteer - Hands on the Steering Wheel

Thanks guys. And thank you Tam for the link to the Model 3 discussion of the same question.

Vast discrepancies in volume between audio sources

Is there any way to equalize the volume between the various audio sources? FM and SXM are the loudest, while streaming and bluetooth audio need to be boosted to near maximum in order to comfortably hear them. In previous cars, it was possible to equalize various sources, so that when switching...

Autosteer - Hands on the Steering Wheel

Despite having my hands on the steering wheel, I often get the "Apply light force to steering wheel" message, followed by the flashing display. Not sure what Tesla's definition of light force is. Sometimes a challenge to get the warning to disappear. Anyone have any suggestions as to where's...

    TuneIn Radio “Loading Error”

Trying to listen to live sports broadcasts on TuneIn radio. On each and every game/station I’ve tried, I get a loading error. Not the case with normal radio station streaming. Went to my computer to see if the same problem existed, and was able to get live sports broadcasts with no problems...

    SiriusXM Cover Art/Album Art

I know this probably has been mentioned over the years, but want to relate my experience. One week ago I proudly took delivery of my 2018 Tesla Model S 100d. It comes with SiriusXM capability but no free trial, unlike many other automobile brands. I’m an avid SiriusXM listener and have been...
