I’m waiting for HW5, in the meantime I’m enjoying my 2021 July built Plaid, immensely.

Software updates have shown to correct left side light issues on the new rounded wheel. I believe you can request the update from Service. My new rounded wheel worked perfectly from the beginning and I don’t really care what shape my Ul shows.

But is the incredible acceleration from the 3 carbon sleeved motors amazing? And add a little lemon to your butter! I always do with my shrimp/prawns.

I agree, having both is the best of both worlds. And when you get older and the Porsche is difficult to get in and out of, the Tesla will always be handy. And can get you where you want to go as fast as you want.

Yes, but they look really cool. 😄 Even though you can’t see them once installed. I got them just to be safe and it seems my Plaid actually tracks betting with them. But that could be from getting properly aligned too.

It’s not that important to me to see a yoke or a round wheel icon. However, since I did get a round wheel and a round wheel air bag, where is it you see the yoke or round icon?

Yoke or wheel, the airbag direction of deployment should be the same and therefore not a safety issue. That being said, while the airbag module is the same size and interchangeable, Tesla May have modified the size or shape of the inside bag for cost or design reasons and thus gave it a new part...

I wouldn’t count on getting a real and normal functioning horn on your yoke wheel. The movable center might just be a loose part. 😃 The new air bags that come with the new rounded wheels are not horn capable so I don’t think we’ll see that possibility with a software update. I’d love to be...

It will be shipped to your Tesla Service center and when they have it you can make a mobile appointment for them to install. Apparently they are out of stock and are waiting on production. Of course they also need the accompanying airbag so they may be out of stock too. Be patient and know Tesla...

I question is, is the new rounded wheel’s airbag from Tesla really different in its deployment than their yoke airbag. I know the part #s are different but is it really a different design and is it dangerous to use a yoke airbag on a rounded wheel ? I would hope the yoke airbag is compatible...
