In that context, yes I agree with you. But from the pure product experience standpoint, it’s hard to make the case that LFP is better. Most people aren’t considering geopolitical chess when deciding which car to get. They just want one that looks good and provides for a good user experience .
Why not? The rear casting isn’t “the back half” of the car. The Model 3 equivalent of that area is nearly identical in overall shape.
Front casting would be a non-starter, though.
LFP is a good example of how good Tesla and Elon are at marketing. Nickel is better on nearly every metric that interfaces with the user experience and results in a lighter, better performing vehicle, and yet they have convinced many LFP is superior.
Just noticed there's 13 superchargers currently under construction the PNW (including McDermitt). Great progress from the Tesla Charging team. Hoping they do Sisters next :)
no issues even with 275/35. Link below from a month or so ago in this thread.

I've tried this with no luck. My 2019 SR+ was built in May and came with HW2.5. I think I'll just skip over HW3 entirely and get HW4 with my next car in a couple years.
The “new” RWD Model 3 is slower, heavier, less nimbler, and worse charging than the one it replaced. Degradation isn’t really a concern of mine. That’s just a matter of expectations.
Disagree with the statement that LFP is better than the older nickel pack. It's worse in every metric. The "I can charge to 100% daily!" thing doesn't really seem like much of a feature to me, as it's not how people actually use their vehicles.
Model 3 was priced $37-38k from mid-2020 to Q1-2021, and that was with a more expensive nickel pack. There is still room for it to drop more this year if supply/demand justify it.
They're basically identical. For me, I'd go with MPP because Sasha is awesome and MPP is such a gem for the Tesla community. Nothing against TSS, but as a former hardcore tuner/enthusiast type, I appreciate MPP's DNA.
