For anyone who drives by Alexandria a lot, noticed some construction work in the Alexandria Home-maker Centre carpark NE corner (near the Merc dealership). Nothing obvious that it was Superchargers but worth keeping an eye on.

How many other Australian customers would have 60,000+ SIM cards in the field on the one account? $ value they may not be as large as some corporates as I assume IoT pricing is somewhat cheaper than voice + data packages.

If you want to run Waze, do it on your mobile. And just have the phone on the charging pod which is just below the screen. Quite easy to glance at on long journeys when on autopilot.

Will be interesting to see what the cars planner suggests. Given its less of a detour off the highway, and the stalls are quicker and in peak demand will have less sharing, it should be a simple choice for those in the know. Albeit it's probably a little too close for those starting a journey...

Agreed particularly for 400V cars (ie. All Tesla's and the majority of EVs) you are paying $0.69/kWh for max 75kW or so Unless the can up the Amp limit it's expensive for what it provides.

I think for now it just means there is a combined stack, so Tesla simply publishes one version of code rather than two. I don't think we can read much into it meaning FSD in Australia is any closer.
