You would have to install it yourself and then find someone to program the car. Tesla will no longer install anything but factory new units which are still sealed.
They have made MANY over the years... They finally did a total redesign recently which MAY have finally fixed it but I don't believe that it can be retrofitted to older cars...
It's ironic. Our 2013 vehicle has an autopark system that always works flawlessly and is magnitudes better than the one in my 2022 Tesla... The one in the Tesla is so bad that I never use it.
Looks like a good possible solution. How do you like it after a few weeks?
Update: It says on their website that it is no longer available... Bummer!
Second update: It is still available at Walmart... Link to site: Robot or human?
Since I don't use a magnetic mount on my phones, I'm still trying to come up with a decent mount that either attaches to the dash (probably on the air vent) or to the steering column... I haven't found anything that checks all the boxes yet...
I've had Apple maps take me the wrong way numerous times and Google Maps never has on the same routes... My primary consideration is accuracy and details of navigation and on that, Google wins hand down. I really don't care much about the others...YMMV.
Worst vehicle I ever owned was a Chrysler. One problem after another! The first clue should have been that the Check Engine light came on as I was driving it off the lot...
True. I should have been more specific. For me, I wanted both data on the center console ports and USB-C support. This restored that functionality. It was 70 dollars when I bought it from Tparts. Note that Tesla cut off the data cable on later cars and you need to let Tparts know this so...
Tesla dropped the communications chip that supports data on the USB ports due to supply issues. You can buy a replacement aftermarket module that has the data chip on it for about $70. I did this and now all data works as it should.
They are already in the process of rolling out Starlink at some of them. About 6 weeks ago I was at one in SC where there was a tech installing it as one of their first beta test sites.
Is the OBDII connection point on the 2022 M3 still the connector at the back of the console behind the snap off panel? I have an adapter from the 2019... Will that work with the 2022? Thanks!
You use it automatically every time you put the car in Park. It is the only thing that keeps the car from rolling away since it does not have the mechanicals of an ICE.
