Anyone try this staggered tire/rim combination?

Range, I don't care about. I'm 100% solar and do not go long distance anymore. I have no gas bill or electric bill caused by the M3 :) Handling, That's another thing. That I might not like if that were to change. (Good Catch) Yes, Tesla does run their 235's on 9" wheels (they use to be...

Hear of Travers Ridge Racing wheels?

I have performance wheels, 20x9 with 235.35.20 now I use spacers, 18 in front, 25 in rear, I like the look. So, I guess that's it. I like the look but it's hard to find any good tire shop that will work on my car because of the spacers. I also like the look of the Tesla Uberturbine rims...

Bubble in headrest, Tesla might be caused by interior cleaner/conditioner

This is my second M3. My car now is a 2022 M3P, 15 months old with 14,500 miles and I am the only one that drives the car. I'm 80 years old, with short hair. I do not put anything on my hair except a shampoo which I get from Target. Nothing exotic and I do not use any type of cleaner on the...

To install or not to install spacers. That's my question

Thanks for the thought I don't drive the car that much, possibly 10,000 miles a year. Not enough to do any harm and never to the track. It seems like, from I am reading, spacers really won't do damage if done correctly which leaves making the car look good to my eyes. That I like!

To install or not to install spacers. That's my question

SteelClouds People go on about the dangers of a spacer and don't think twice about putting a deeper offset rim on the same hub. Same damn thing, different way to do it. ______________________________________ Just for giggles I looked up the offset from a 18 inch and the 20 inch performance...

To install or not to install spacers. That's my question

I have been considering spacers for some time on my M3P. Infact, I have an appointment to have 18mm in front and 25 in the rear installed in a week. Here's my concern: I have asked a number of tire shops if they would install them for me and not one would do it. They all told me how...

Do I need permit for Tesla Wall Charger if I already installed a permitted 14-50 Outlet?

in 2019, I got a permit from the town to install a NEMA 14-50 and why did I do that is because, If the house ever burnt down, I didn't want the insurance company to use a not-permitted electrical installation as a reason not to fund. Later on, I decided to install the Tesla wall charger. I...

Have you used RPM Tesla's Noice Reduction Kits?

Has anyone installed RPM Tesla's Noice Reduction kit for the doors, pillars, trunk and Frunk? What is used is the foam strips that go around the edges. Along with RPM's Trunk and Frunk Noise Reduction kit that is a padding on the ceiling of each. If you have, notice any difference?

Vendor eas | Southern California Tesla tuning source and daily showroom

I have stock 20" Überturbine rims on the M3Performance. For what we do, the car's comfort is good. No need to drop down in size. I guess what I'm thinking is at my age, this might be my last car and I want to go down in a good looking car. That's why I am truly considering the lowering...

Just called the shop. All my questions were answered. Not so much the budget. Hey, I'm 80 and don't drive that much anymore (about 8500 miles a year). Basically, I take my wife for a few miles drive in the country and that's about it. So, I'm thinking the extra cost to do coilovers would be...

Just walked home from going over an MS parked two doors down visiting his grandma It was lowered and boy, did it look good. I'm really not interested in upgrading my front and rear suspension, but I sure would like to drop my 3P. Can that be done just with springs or is there more to it than...

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

I have read the Michelin SP4S aren't as efficient as the Perelli PZ4 because their tires are stickier. Have you found that to be true?
  29. JimShaw

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

I'm really not that fast or lose driver. I like the feel of the car taking off 0-60 and shutting before hitting 50MPH. I do like the car quiet and less bumpy as possible. The PZ4's have done a good job but wonder if the SP4S would be about the same but with a tad sticker tire. I've decided...

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

Thanks for a great read I will re-read your post a few more time before my decision. I think I will move over to Michelins but I will I move from 235 to 245, that's what I will now be considering Once again, thanks But then you seem to like the Potenza Sport. I'm going to take another look

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

I stopped by a Michelin dealer today and ask about the PS4S 245-35-R20 vs my car's OEM 235-35-R20 I was told the PS4S 245 tire is a tad wider and taller than a 235 which will stick better from 0-60. Is this correct?? Since the 245 is taller, can the car's computer make an adjustment for the...

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

Thanks for the correction. I noticed one of the members went from Michelin 235-35-R20 to 245-35-R20. Is that a good move? Seems like the 245 tire is a tad higher and wider

    Perelli PZ4 or Michelin PS4S?

I have an M3P and starting to think about tire replacement And, Yes, I know tires are talked about a lot on this forum and I've tried to read most of the posts. I have narrowed my choices down to two, Perelli P Zero (PZ4) or Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (PS4S) [235-35-R20] The original tires on...

I also could not find anyone to install my yoke. Companies wouldn't install because the yoke was not purchased from them. So, I did it myself to found it was easy. First, I watched a ton of YouTube videos of people doing it. Became very familiar with the steps. The only tool I did not have...

    S3XY buttons at Abstract Ocean

Just received my buttons and I was surprised how easy it was to install and setup. The only problem I had (because I'm 80) was the slight maneuvering in the back seat to connect everything. My body is not as bendable as it used to be but I did it. Now for a question: What is Autopilot Hands-on?
