I looked at the track pack and it appears that it comes with wider wheels (8.5 vs 9), so that might be an issue with the 245s. That would be the only thing I'd worry about.

I think they are mostly concerned about tread depth, speed and load range. The load range is a big one since these cars are so heavy. As you stated, the 245 is an oem size so that shouldn't be an issue. As long as they aren't some strange, weird brand I think you'll be fine. To ease your mind...

You can try hosing down the coils and filter box with Lysol spray. That sometimes works for me. Definitely check that your drain isn't clogged.

You could mount the wall connector a little higher on the wall. I had left enough extra wire so I could mount the wall connector in the same spot.

Which way did you wire them: in phase or out of phase? I played around with a phase tester app the when I added the harness to my lasucar but got confusing results. Rwaudio: it looks like you wired them out of phase. Correct?

It is immediate. I did have to reboot though for the satellite maps to load. It told me I had to.

Yes, the li battery is 15 - 16 volts.

Just follow the directions to enable homelink, but instead of enabling it, it will ask you if you want to disable it.
