The not funny, but not amusing thing about the battery drop is that it's a 2-person, 1.5 hour charge roughly, so 2-3 billable hours. But remember that video where they are touting battery swap and they do 2 cars in, like, 8min? Makes you wonder how many techs they had underneath working on it.

This is exactly how London,KY went down. They left the old chargers and the in a completely new set. Great way not to waste things. This terrre haute charger has only gotten better over the years.

I wish I was still as hopeful about Tesla as you, I really do. But they consistently botch communication like this. And that's in part to blame for their decline in service experience.

Presumably they are replacing an internal battery powered fuse with a newer one that doesn't require a battery in all cases. Does that sound right? Or is the fuse a different part number if it's on top of the pack vs. in the the cover underneath? Fyi, I have pack number 1063792-00-A
