That would explain "daisy-chain".
Is your interpretation that it lacks solar inverter but can sink/ source AC power via the battery inverter? Seems like it would need to be useful, with the alternative being DC link to the main unit (also daisy-chain).
Could also be testing V12 to see how it handles that situation. Theoretically, if the base behavior is good, it wouldn't need trained on that specific situation whereas v11 relied on a bunch more human written and tuned C++ path planning code.
I did. In the post before the one you quoted.
Interesting you find listening to under two hours of earnings call every three months antithetical to having a life. Or searching the recent transcript as part of a news article.
For reals?
I've had a reservation for 15 quarters and they think I'm going to cancel because I'll need to wait another???
Also... did no one listen to the Q2 call?
What promise is that?
Q1 earnings call: "delivery event probably in Q3", "hopefully around the end of Q3"
Q2 earnings call: "delivering it later this year."
Right, you are getting to Dishy through the app. The router has its network functions disabled due to bridge mode. All the app network functions were served from the router.
The router is so disabled that you can only exit bypass mode via factory reset.
Do you have a Gen 3 router?
Ah, I'm pretty sure the speed test is performed by the router, with it in bridge mode it may not be able to run it.
100.1 was for residential Dishy, but it sounds like you can get to it through the app?
It's wronger than that, the range is for GVWR, not curb (which is untracked regulation wise AFAIK).
Hummer is 10,550 gross, 9,063 curb, 1,300 pound payload capacity...
2023 GMC HUMMER EV Specs & Features | Edmunds
Don't know where you got that quote from. The 8,501 - 10,000 estimate from 2019 based on expected vehicle class is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). That is fully loaded capacity NOT curb weight.
If a vehicle exceeds 10,000 that impacts commercial use, so they would certify at the lower...
The factories restarted far enough from the end of the quarter to mostly refill the shipping pipeline. Shanghai had at least 3 ships outbound at EoQ.
Shutdown
Drain pipeline (16 day drawdown)
End of deliveries
Restart
Refill pipeline (15 day refill @ Q2 delivery rate*)
End result is...
The battery temperature changes between the end of the charging cycle and your next drive. That can be a bigger impact than time from previous drive to start of charge cycle. Depends on conditions and charge current.
Dishy is the modem
Router is power injecting Access Point
System can run without Router if you put DC power on the right pairs.
The app pulls data from both Dishy and Router, it's not served by the router itself (as far as I can tell).
100.1 Web interface gives only Dishy stuff (no networking...
It's like setting a cable modem/ AP to bridge where the modem itself still has settings.
There's Dishy and there is the router which is also the power injector for Dishy.
You can set the router to bridge/ pass-through mode with wifi access point off so it is ownly power to Dishy and no other...
3. No personal FSD + RoboTaxi (where Tesla takes higher %)
Cybertruck reservation list is so deep, nothing can boost sales besides more manufacturing...
Strange... App shows offline?
I'm not in bridge, but can connect via 3rd party access point. Network tab is router, obstructions abd stuff should be served by Dishy.
That unit is basically a wall mount mobile connector.
Wall connector installed cost is a lot closer to mobile once you correct for GFCI vs non-GFCI breaker, no high grade 14-50 outlet, and 3 conductors instead of 4.
Tesla's ecosystem also handles load balancing between units on top of the...
No monthly fees (fee regardless of usage) doesn't mean no per-session fees.
For example, unless Tesla passes on the credit card processing fee, Tesla is subsidizing every use.
Price selected - credit card fee - Tesla fee = gross to property owner. So property owner can adjust the user rate to...
Q2 cars sold in Q3 are not pure profit. Costs are carried with the vehicle as inventory until sold (or otherwise disposed of). Then they transfer from the balance sheet to the income statement. So a Q2 build sold in Q3 hits cost of revenue the same as a Q3 build (ignoring changes in BOM and...
How much of the 80k is fuel? (It impacts net load)
300 gallons in 2 tanks lets it go all day, 65PH * 24 = 1,570 miles, only need 5.2 MPG to achieve that.
Or to the (much larger) NN that does the curating.
(Not that NN bias is better than humam bias...)
How do you train a small NN how to drive?
Start with a large NN that knows how to drive...
Seriously though, isn't that what autolabeler does?
I thought we had determined from Rocknado that the company leads the investigation (in partnership with NASA, FAA, NTSB, ...)
So the mishap report timing could be a result of Blue Origin tracking down the issues and solutions. The March update from BO was only the main failure cause, not the 21...
NHTSA: we don't like v12.6.8
Tesla: rolls back to v12.6.7, later releases v12.6.9
Worst case, disables FSD until v12.6.9 .Point is sales don't get stopped.
Tesla can (as near as matters) instantly disable any FSD feature on the cars, so a NHTSA recall wouldn't prevent sales for any length of time.
And that's assuming the car shipped from the factory with the problematic software active as opposed to being a first download type thing.
From the...
Yeah, we tend to talk about the vehicle which has a low voltage and high(er) voltage system. Generac calls <600V medium, whereas transmission lines of 1kV to 35kV are medium (sometimes).
There are places that will make custom cables from standard off the shelf ones. The drawing seems to...
Western Australia law enforcement is investing $8.5 million into Starlink services & gear.
Western Australian Police invest $8.5 million to deploy Starlink
Between planes also otherwise planes must always be over a ground station.
Multiple links per sat (around 5k sats)
High density would be 4 links per sat for adjacent in-plane and adjacent plane links. Likely ways to optimize beyond that though.
Right, I didn't think you intended negativity, nor was it inherently negative. I was trying to reduce confusion.
Language is weird; I get PCBs made all the time and I would hate if a supplier fabricated that they were fabricated them.
Clarification due to regional meanings: does "fabricated" in this case mean the same thing as "planned"?
(Fabricated can also mean falsified, just like scheme has a negative connotation in the States)
Yeah, load/transit/unload time + local shipping is still > 3 weeks.
China sent out two ships...
Last part is multiple Megapacks/ extra trucks/ maximum time shifting.
Mega pack holds 3.9MWh and can output @ 1.9MW or 1MW. So you can get 4 trucks from just it. Or, with 4 posts and 3x4 trucks, eliminate 1 MW of demand. 16 trucks 4x4, cut by at least 750kW.
Good catch on my lack of addition typo!
SC HV DC -> HV DC
The Supercharger voltage is whatever is takes to achieve the vehicle’s requested charge current, but never more than the pack maximum voltage at the car. There is voltage drop from cabinet to pedestal and pedestal to car.
High usage case:
4 chargers at 750kW =3000 kW
1,706 + 2800*7.98 = 23,770 demand
/12 trucks/ 28 days = $70.74 demand per charge
+ 20.70 for kWh = $91.44
/$6 a gallon for diesel = 15 gallons
*10 MPG = 150 mile ICE range equivalent
Add a megapack and demand could drop by 1000kW
Or throttle...
House AC -> Charger (PCS) -> HV DC
HV DC <-> Pack (<- if loads exceed house power)
HV DC -> LV DC (PCS) (16V or so)
HV DC -> Compressor
HV DC -> Drive Units (<- during regen)
If, for instance, a car is preconditioning off of a 12A 120V connection, it will draw from both house AC and pack DC...
