I was driving through and had some time to scope out that possible Pateros supercharger location (based on the leaked map a few months back). This is what I found. I’m sure this is a car charging station, just not sure if it’s a supercharger. Perhaps someone ( @Mrbrock ) can discern?

I’m more curious wether the cord was long enough to reach that model Ys port with 4 bikes on the rack…..

That area gets alot of it though, and most dirt projects get put on hold till spring. Also could this still be a 12 stall or 8 as it sits now? That would delay even more if it’s the former.

Not much has changed. Probably opening in the spring or later since this site is still pretty primitive as far as paving goes and snow will be flying soon

I know about MDs. I meant some people think the adapters for destination chargers can be used on superchargers.

Which is only Tesla. There are no adapters for superchargers, just destination chargers.

The bigger problem (if you can call it that) is this particular area is behind the store in a very secluded spot. Next to a HWY popular with all sorts of seedy characters.

Could the transformer be sharing the load with something else besides the charging station?

That sucks. But I can see how someone who doesn’t understand how the charging/amenities works will cut this out of their model. Hard to believe that Lacey didn’t bring this up, so it’s on them.

This has got to be a one off or rare event. Paying employees to go supercharge the cars on top of electricity costs is just not feasible for them. Also I’d imagine they’re just as shorthanded as the rest of the labor market out there.

Drove around the parking lot and didn’t see any markings or signs of construction. I hope NW of the parking lot means behind Bartell’s. It’s a small parking lot ideal for a supercharger. The main lot up front is pretty busy.

That routine is usually broken in construction phase. People are like sheep, they’ll find a new “favorite” spot to park in during that time :). Hopefully.

Also Entiat supercharger is called that, not Chelan. In any case that’s the only one (I think) that’s not called by the city/town it’s in.

Industrial way is a strange location. It’s a strip of agricultural warehouses. Also it’s odd that they call it okanogan supercharge but in location is in Pateros, which is 30 miles and a good size town away.

Will they even fit a plaid? Just curious

Not surprised. It’s only 120mi between Entiat and Osoyoos and 97 is not that heavily traveled.

Why would the 12V drain? You still have 49% on the HV battery. The trunk can be left open for many reasons. Not a big deal IMO
