That destination charger would be great for visiting any of the local restaurants. Aside from that, I am happy to have these chargers there. If not charging at my destination, I can always pop in for a 15 minute charge, which should last me a week up there until I take the hill back down.

Finally got around to scheduling a service for my peeling yoke. They told me they could replace it now, or I could wait for a better one in Q1 2024. I can wait. Who knows, but maybe the new one has a real horn button? I can dream now, can't I?

So, what is the over-under for this site closing? This site is located on land that is for sale, it has 6 V2's from 2015, 4 semi-temporary type V3's and 2 (definitely) temporary Urban stalls. 44 other stalls in Mojave up and running, with 32 of them just a 30 second walk from these.

No one in Mammoth charges for parking, unless you valet at the locations I mentioned above. You don't need to valet to use the chargers.

I was going to say the same thing. Also, several locations, like the Village and the Westin, amongst others, have destination charging. Nothing better than getting a full charge while sleeping.

Not like the other site at Bishop is all that busy. Probably not an issue. What would really be helpful is the proposed location at Lee Vining. I am sure quite a few people will need a charge after climbing the hill.

Hard to become a fan when your first experience sucks. For locals who come by often, it is probably easy and routine.

The few times I used their facilities, I gave them a couple of bucks and just told them I am just there for the restroom. They happily let me in. I think they are supposed to honor Tesla drivers, or, that is at least the impressive they gave me.
