Just stopped by. No change. After I parked, two gentlemen came out of the house opposite the chargers, and we chatted. They own the plaza, both own MYs, and had requested the SC to drive traffic to the plaza. I told them about this community, and they may turn up here.

This will fill a gap, but we could really use more further up the coast.

I sit corrected and ashamed! I actually wondered if it might by a Roadster. The hood badge didn't look like a Tesla logo, and the headlights and air intakes seemed wrong (I was looking on Wikipedia). Putting both a CT and a Roadster there is great!

I'm always glad to see more SCs go in, but this location is already near Concord (and Hookset, though those are a toll road). We need more on I-89 and I-91.

Stopped here on the 1st. Quite busy. No amenities except a (clean, and well supplied) portapotty. There are clearly shops going up adjacent.

We need to get this made a towable offense statewide, similar to misusing a handicap spot. How can this be done?

Odd. The handles are stowed on the right side of the charger. While I haven't taken particular notes, I think all the ones I've used have the handle stowed on the left. It looks like they were installed backwards. This arrangement does give an extra couple inches of reach to the cable. I also...

For me, this adds some peace of mind between Seabrook and Littleton. Seabrook was offline when I last wanted to use it, a couple months ago.. Luckily, I checked before starting out, and charged extra at Kennebunk.

I look forward to this one. Last time I stayed there, the hotel had a few destination L2 chargers, but this would be much better. The tourist demographic in P-Town is, I suspect, quite Tesla-positive.

I was there April 2. At that time, the first pedestal (furthest from the stores) was not working. I left and continued to the Kennnebunk service plaza.

I'm surprised. There's already an SC in Shoppers World, which is less than a mile away. Now there's this, and I see talk of one at Old Path Village, which is just as close. As happy as I am to see more SCs, check the map - this cluster of 3 is very tight. We could use some SCs to fill in gaps...

I had a tech come by for an unrelated issue, and he was able to fish out an obstruction from the well the hinge is in. But its still marginal , and pops open a lot. I'm considering gluing a magnet and a steel washer into the lid.

I did locations I'm likely to travel to or through (eg Bennington VT and Provincetown), and suggested Greenfield, MA, which would plug a hole in this part of New England.

I'm really pleased to see this location - I visit Wells a couple times a year at least. It will save runs up to the Kennebunk service area.

@tes-s @corywright It appears that Tesla leaked the exact addresses of upcoming SC locations for the US and Canada a couple of days ago. We may want to use them to refine the map. These are not 'new' locations; just more precise addresses...

The Charleton chargers are on the Mass Pike, a limited access toll highway. This is far more convenient if you're not on the Pike.

Will this SC be open to the public, 24/7? I ask because it seems to be deep inside the Owls Head resort.

Interesting - the developer is also behind The Point in Littleton, MA, which also has a fairly recently installed SC.

Looks ready to be turned on. The transformer is energized and has a meter. The pedestals are unwrapped, but unlit, and won't open my 3's charger door. There is what seems to be wires for an installed streetlight in the middle of the row. Awaiting high priests from Tesla and NationalGrid to wave...

We've seen this pattern many times; the Tesla HW gets installed in a timely manner, then there's weeks of waiting for the utility to get its ass in gear.

My wife drove me out to the site this afternoon. A transformer can be seen behind the rightmost pedestal, and the whit connection box about halfway along the row.. A cable has been extended up the utility pole, not not connected. After a fast start, things have slowed down a lot.

Since my last update Aug 8, I've been out of action. First, I was a DEFCON in Vegas. On the way back, I fell and broke my leg (6 weeks in a boot), AND tested positive for COVID a day later. There will be no updates on Templeton or elsewhere from me for a while.

A prefab pad and some conduit has been dropped off. The previously installed conduit is a clue where the switchbox and transformer will go.

There are EA and EVGo stations on the other side of the mall.

Saturday morning. The trench is mostly filled, two metal conduits run up the lower part of the bare utility pole. The white Tesla cabinets are unwrapped. The far end of the trench is still open. No sign of pads for a transformer or switchbox, though the grass at the of the trench is torn up.

Went by around 6pm. 8 pedestals in place, 2 Tesla cabinets, all wrapped up. There's also an unidentified white cabinet, still on a pallet. Behind the pedestals, a narrow, 6 foot deep trench has been dug, going to an unused utility pole by the street. The other end is concealed by the digger...
