Very true. Or they could make the offer to transfer both limited to make a distinction between the SC01 & the SC05 cars. The ones they really want off the road are the SC01 cars. SC05 cars are a much smaller expense long-term.

Ridesharing. Those who have SC01 from before the date of the fair use policy are allowed to use superchargers for commercial use. Those who are governed by the current policy are not & risk having their free supercharging SC05 taken away by Tesla.

Yesterday using Scan My Tesla I watched the battery heater raise the battery temp from 60 to 69 degrees in 10 minutes. After that I had to go & couldn't keep waiting & watching the data to see when it would shut off, but it was very close to shutting off based on my experience.

Today while running errands & the car was parked the battery heater kicked on from activating the HVAC. The battery temp must be 61 degrees or lower for the heater to kick on. The heater stays on until the battery reaches 71-72 degrees. The battery heater ran for 11 minutes per our TeslaFi logs...

The resistive battery heater is more effective at heating the battery. With Scan My Tesla you can see the temperature. We don't have to suffer much from limited regen in the winter with our S due to pre-heating via the app & the battery heater. It takes only about 8-12 minutes in most conditions...

Except they don't. Do you have data showing that they heat the battery to 70+ degrees to have full regen without limits while parked by turning on the HVAC?

The terms show that if you return the new car you will completely lose FUSC. You can only transfer it once & the VIN has to be on the paperwork before delivery. So that sounds like if you reject delivery because the new car has issues you would lose FUSC.

The really old cars aren't that great for road trips anyway even with free supercharging due to the slow kW speeds & long charging times. Our 2016 S90D takes longer than a newer car would because of lower peak kW & an earlier taper as the SOC increases.

You cannot transfer both. Last quarter was FSD. This quarter it's FUSC. I would buy a new Tesla if they allowed us to transfer both. Until then I will not be buying another Tesla. Maybe at some point they'll get desperate enough for sales.

They were not the OEM tires, they were the replacements we purchased for the OEM tires on our 2016 S90D. I believe that Tesla has used them as the OEM tire at times.

What we've noticed so far is that with both fobs in the car the message goes away after a few drive cycles. Same is true with only fob 2 in the car. But with only fob 1 present the message appears again. And replacing the battery in fob 1 didn't make a difference.

This has been my experience too. I've had some where it swerves back, but not always. I sometimes see it & react faster than FSD Beta, especially if the other car is early in its lane change or is starting a very gradual lane change.
