    Tesla Unionization

Somebody with a clue. Employees themselves have argued all along #3.
  2. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

I think some of that money does come from the companies as well, if I understood some earlier posts. Both employees and employers pay fees.
  3. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

The more it hurts, the sooner people and businesses will see the flaw in the system, and realize what a scam the union was in the first place and put them out of business. Just another business segment Tesla is flipping on its head. Come into the 21st century or die. I say again, IF Metall...

You’re first on my zombie list, which is quite a feat given who currently was #1 by a mile.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Excellent question! I can only say I know they don’t currently route through Swedish ports. Otherwise 🤷🏻‍.

    Tesla Unionization

Fear. Anger. Illogic. Thank you for continuing to post. It was only a matter of time until you revealed what really upsets you and it has nothing to do with unions, working conditions, or the like. FYI, you’re in the wrong thread. Oh, wait. You helped to get that one closed.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

OMG with the towing conversation already. Thank you, everyone. I now fully understand the CT will handle my mountain and zombie apocalypse tasks. Let’s dissect something else for a while. K? Like how do I accelerate the zombie apocalypse because most of you would make magnificent zombies.

    Tesla Unionization

Right!? Just exactly what are they doing with all that money? If there are few strikes in Sweden, why the war chest of member’s money? Have they reduced member’s fees? Have they given money back to members? Have they implemented some sort of education program or something else that helps the...
  9. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

It is true of humans that if it doesn’t negatively affect them, then it’s all good or of no concern to them. Now that works both ways even here and on this topic. I can hear @SwedishAdvocate ’s argument already: There are so rarely strikes in Sweden that it’s not been a problem until Tesla...

    Tesla Unionization

Given that you’ve taken the time to read, digest, and comprehend all the posts from the Musk’s ideological acolytes here; you know that every single one of them has worked in both union and non-union shops. Every. Single. One. The Musk’s ideological acolytes have also posted specific firsthand...

    Tesla Unionization

@SwedishAdvocate has most certainly been in a Swedish union, but I’d bet my own money he’s never had to sympathy strike with no dog in the fight, watched the company he works for go out of business, and lose his job because of it. He’s also never been a small business owner forced to sympathy...

    Tesla Unionization

I didn’t say anyone was more trustworthy than another. Indeed, I’ve been very clear I don’t believe anyone. “I read an article in” - pick your media source paid to say what their advertisers tell them to say - doesn’t fly on any day except Sundays between 2:00 am and 2:00:01 am. And as this...
  14. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

The only side I see trying to ‘win’ is the union. Tesla is ignoring them for the most part and simply carrying on business as usual. It doesn’t seem, given the recent interview, that Elon is in any kind of negotiating mood with what he views as blackmailers. So, no. I don’t see any...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He’s sensing nothing of the kind. It’s probably just time to make money on the upside for a week. Then it’ll be time to make money on the downside and then we’ll call it window dressing for the year. Rinse and repeat. Go ahead, save this tweet. He’ll say something opposite, probably right...

  17. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

It occurred to me that another reason for Tesla not to sign a collective agreement, in addition to the reasons we all already know, is for just what is happening now. Would Tesla want to be forced to sympathy strike against a company they are doing business with? Maybe, maybe not. I think...

    Tesla Unionization

Yes, I believe the NY Times because they’ve always told the unadulterated truth.
  19. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

Yes, actually you can. Indeed, ANYBODY can just make up their own rules. In fact, most of us DO make up our own rules that we live by. I get what the point here is supposed to be. Factually, Tesla/Elon haven’t broken a single Swedish law WHILE making up their own rules. So, that’s a really...

    Tesla Unionization

I want to go to Sweden now to buy a Tesla in their face. We’ve all dealt with strikers before on this side of the ocean. Some we’ve supported, some we haven’t.
  22. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

Technically, they are. When Sweden makes it a law to have a collective agreement then that is the day Tesla will sign one or won’t and will pack up their toys.
  23. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

    Technically, they don’t.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Hypothetical to make a point. You are not invited. Yes, I’ve made vanilla cake and last week I made shortcake from scratch because I had some strawberries that deserved only the best. Did it look like AZ was just down the street from my glass half empty picture!?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Hmmm…this is the same not-helpful group that had certain Tesla’s listed as not reliable based on non-reliability issues. Have they changed their survey parameters to more accurately reflect and define EV reliability yet? I’d look myself if I actually thought they had a clue, were accurate...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I also wanted and still want the highest range. Things can get nuts in a zombie apocalypse. That’s a fact. Logically, having had a Tesla for almost 6 years now, I’m confident I could make significantly less miles work just fine even as the world comes to an end and I’ll have regular towing...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He seemed pretty serious to me. He can at any time change his mind, but I’ve seen this movie before and it always ends the same way - true to his conviction.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yes, of course you disagree because you think people should have their cake and eat it too. In my house if you don’t like the flavor of the cake, don’t eat the cake. You’ve no right to step into my house, even if I invited you for dinner, to bellyache that it’s vanilla instead of chocolate...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Did you not listen to what he said or did you not hear? “Let the chips fall where they may.” That’s a direct quote. It means, companies will advertise and X lives on or companies won’t and X will die. He has no intention of propping it up. Yes, I’ve heard this complaint from people before...
  33. Krugerrand

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He straight up said, let the chips fall where they may. You’re the one viewing it as winning or losing, and determining he needs to win and not lose. He does not care. There’s no reason to feel bad for him. He’s living his life to the fullest; win, lose or draw.
  34. Krugerrand

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

After the short video I just saw of Elon; he’ll tell the government to go entertain itself and he’ll do whatever it takes for Tesla to survive by its own rules. Sweden should also assume they can also entertain themselves before Tesla will ever sign a collective agreement that doesn’t suit...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Sandbagging may be the wrong word. I think he’s being conservative about the demand for CT. I believe Tesla will ramp up CT to as many units as demand demands. I think there may also be an issue with the availability of SS, which could hamper (temporarily?) yearly production.
  36. Krugerrand

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Agreed. Tesla doesn’t have to take a large market share to hurt them badly. They just have to take a big enough piece to push the snowball down the mountain. Just people deciding to hang onto their old ICE trucks rather than buy new to wait for a CT can make a huge dent. Let’s not forget the...

  40. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

And he’s married to her, thusly they’re a ‘family’ and it’s a ‘family’ car regardless of whose name it’s in? Or is there no common law/50/50 marriage assets law in Sweden? I have to ask this now because your country definitely has some odd ideas of what’s fair and right. My spouse and I have...

You tell me how many employees. I haven’t got a clue, but you’re talking like it’s all Tesla employees. It’s not even close to all. It’s not even close to half of employees. You want me to be less vague than a handful; I’ll start right after you start being less vague. Pay attention. I...

Now that Elon is fully aware, perhaps he’ll be flying to Sweden at some point and talking to someone higher up the food chain.
  44. Krugerrand

    Tesla Unionization

No one knows what’s in the collective agreement either. A HANDFUL of Tesla employees are on strike. The MAJORITY are working as usual and content to do so per their own mouth. For the THIRD time and reported by your own media; the collective agreement is not conducive to Tesla’s business...

    Tesla Unionization

Follow the news, huh? It’s like you’re new to media. It’s like you don’t know they cut and paste and that’s how there’s consistency. But let’s say for argument sake it’s all true; give us the EXACT number of disgruntled employees vs non-disgruntled. I’ll wait…

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

When you own your own social platform, be it a forum like this or one like what Elon owns, is the very moment you can say whatever you want when you want on said platform. Until such time, this forum and thread have rules of which you broke one - unbeknownst to you, but known now. Being an...
