Biggest CyberTruck delay was factory to build it. Not to mention the new manufacturing processes needed to build it. Honestly it is why none of us should have ever believed the initial timeframe for production. What were we thinking? There was no place to build the thing.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Has anyone heard of any Cybertruck deliveries since the delivery event. If Tesla doesnt deliver a nice amount before end of year then the delivery event really seems like just promotion. Sorta like the Semi deliveries. I hope this isnt the case.

Wondering why you can't discuss Elon's tweets? Preserved as an example.

He said a post that echoed what triggered the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre. Dont downplay what he did.

Wondering why you can't discuss Elon's tweets? Preserved as an example.

Not just his tweets, but tweets he elevates by responding to. You have to wonder why he even sees some of these people he ends up promoting. Maybe it is the "For You" algorithm that puts those tweets in front of him. Who controls the "For You" algorithm? Oh before saying not investment related...

I used to and now Elon gets brought up and I wont defend him. I do spend time every day responding to FUD articles on news aggregators. People ask me why when they are just trolls. I do it because without it people dont see whats real. Yet I refuse to defend Elon antics.

Im sure this will get out to the general public. You know the people telling me the last few days you cant get a Tesla lower than $60K.

Or let hitmen from oil companies do the opposite. Still say this is the sort of advertisements needed. Not an advertisement showing CT being shot by a machine gun.

OK. It is the activation I was talking about. Alexa is how we control most of our house. Lights, Heat/AC our biggest problem is 2 Alexa somewhat close to each other causing confusion. Set a timer for cooking and the family room picks it up, create another and the kitchen picks it up. Dont think...

I would like if you could initiate voice commands with a word. Like Amazon does with Alexa. Like "Tessie, Wipers On" rather than hitting button and then say "Wipers On"

So spent some time fighting EV FUD today and got a new crazy statistic thrown at me. Did you know that the US grid needs 700% more electricity to support a conversion to all EVs.

I still dont know why people go through tires. We simply dont. Our 2015 Model S had to have the tires replaced once and we sold at 120K miles. Our 2018 Model 3 still has 2 original and 2 replaced because of picking up a bolt. I guess if you jackrabbit start all the time it could wear them down...

Amazes me people dont see this. At this point EVs are very political and politics therefore have a material effect on Tesla stock. When I push back on EV FUD elsewhere I get more attacked as a libtard then the data I present.

One thing that I would like to see added to Navigation is way to put in your own preferred routes. There are a few places we go where the Navigation doesnt pick the preferred way we like to go. Say give option to remember the route I drive and then save that.

The problem is Wallstreet will take the change as further proof that people dont want EVs like the fact that Mercedes has months of stock for an EV that costs 1/3rd more than the Model Y and has less capabilities. Still I see multiple FUD articles every single day. The FUD articles that...

Tesla never planned on building the CT much earlier. They had no place to build it, let alone the factory equipment to do it.

So by my calculations a Model Y LR bought last year at the price then and at average interest rate has a monthly payment about $100 more than buying a Model Y LR now at the current price with current average interest rates. That doesnt even take into account the $7500 tax credit.

Deflation destroys economies. People start waiting for purchases that arent 100% needed waiting for price decreases. Maybe someone should tell Elon.

Hmmm. How many new cars were sold in Q3 in the USA. Last I checked it was millions and the Average Sales Price was about $50K. Sure seems like lots of Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y would fit especially with the tax credits. So I dont think it was the economy. It was getting people to choose a...

  41. T

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

He should have lead off the call with that. We told you at the last call our numbers would be down because we were making upgrades that should cut costs longer term. Instead he leads off with FSD hype (again) and then focus on the negative of the Cybertruck rather than be excited they are launching.

Who said every job should be remote work. I am talking about jobs that can be remote work or hybrid. I mentioned those because they skew commute times down. With all the CTs leaving the factory I have to believe this ramp will be different. I do believe that launch wont be just a few on the 30th. The commute just makes life harder for people, more costly for people, traffic worse (especially in USA where public transportation sucks), and more dangerous. I also think this is just...
