Someone lost control coming through a junction due to oil on the road and hit me in the ride when I was stationary at the light. Insurance is paying out $71k but I'm still quite a bit out of pocket after custom rims and ppf :/

No I was stationary at a traffic light and someone spun out and hit me, wasn't even that hard.

My vibration and shudder under hard acceleration are no longer an issue. Unfortunately it's also resulted in the car getting totaled. Guess I'm going to wait and get a M3 Highland instead.

I don't have the original half shafts that came with the car. They replaced them to try and fix the shudder problem.

I have shudder under hard acceleration. They claim it's the cold grease and it should go away when warmed up. But that's different to what this thread is about. I have that too :/

Just want to point out that every single (non-Tesla) car I've bought in the past 10+ years has tried to sell me ppf. I'm not sure innovation is the right word here :)

Can you be more specific? If you are taking about using the Tesla yoke it would have to go in either a Refresh (2021+) S or X. Nothing else.

Not a software issue, but a software workaround a mechanical issue. At least that's my take. I'm glad they are doing something about it through. Not sure what @jebinc will do if he doesn't have this to complain about tho ;)

One of the main roads by our house has just been milled in prep for being resurfaced. It's crazy how much vibration from that comes through the accelerator pedal (I also experience the acceleration vibration).

You should remove the airbag before they come and claim it's gone missing and you don't' know where it is :)

My invoice tells a different story. See earlier in the discussion.

After they didn't give me the airbag but did give me the yoke I reached out to them. No luck on getting the airbag.

I have 20x10.5 with 285/35/20 and 20x11 with 305/35/20. They are from Signature Wheels.

My invoice showed the wheel part, the airbag and a bolt :/

I didn't realize the airbags were a different part no, so I've asked the service center for the airbag back, which wasn't in the yoke they gave back to me. I bet it's long gone now though :(

I sent them a message using the app when the car was in service. When I asked the guy who told me my car was ready he said not a problem, he'd seen the message and the yoke is in the trunk.

Didn't notice any text but all the images in the UI still have a yoke graphic.

The current speed is clearly visible, at least with how I have it set up. It's just the speed limit and the lights that I need to lower my head to see to see.

Good question. It feels slightly different, maybe a touch more slippery. That might be down to this being brand new vs my 4 month old replacement yoke. I took a photo showing at the top the bottom of the wheel va the bottom of the yoke, in the bottom of the photo. They look slightly different up...

Get to keep the yoke which includes all of the electronics. The airbag was transferred to the new wheel (as far as I know it's the same unit).

Well they also need to fix the creaking seat, so I have another hour and a bit to wait. I have asked to keep the Yoke, so we'll see. Last time I replaced it (due to be destroying some of the buttons trying to remove the core to install in a 3rd party wheel) they gave it to me.

Cold grease they say for the shudder under hard acceleration. I don't think this applies to the vibration under gentle acceleration.

Sorry, my tires didn't slip. I was stating that my wheels came with friction locks.
