Long time no see, heren (en dames?). Groter...
Th real use case is of course to optimise grid use with flexible pricing. Most people on this forum aren't bothered by their electricity bills but outside, many people will like the tens to hundreds of dollars of savings that can be made.
Your cybertruck will drop you off at the front door and drive itself to a charger in a parking lot at the end of town. Those tiny parking spaces will become a nice broad sidewalk or bicycle path. If not, I will be shocked.
I’ve been driving model S and X all over Western Europe since 2014. My conclusion: when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Everywhere else, just take the X.
I think Jim Cramer is a clown in the good sense of the word, a smart guy amusing the crowd by playing like he’s a fool. It is obvious to me that he started accumulating TSLA in spring of 2019. Then ‘his wife bought a Tesla’ and he got converted, just in time to help pumping the stock.
Let’s use Superpower to turn carbon dioxide into diamonds. Very compact sequestering. More pleasing to the eye than Bitcoin. Inflation resistant. WSB will love it in their proverbial hands. I see only winners here.
So basically someone’s pushing down the stock by massively buying put options for pennies, creating a reverse gamma-squeeze? Sounds like an easy way to create a buying dip! Can we do this monthly?
Yes, if you’re on insulin it’s a whole different cookie. You’re absolutely right about that. But then we are talking therapy, not monitoring more or less healthy individuals. These systems exist and are very useful. Drifting a bit OT, I’m sorry.
but the frequent testing doesn’t change the therapy or the outcome. You’re already living a healthy lifestyle. Due to bad luck you probably have to start medication at some time in the future. But testing twice a day doesn’t change that. Although once a year is not nearly enough, I agree.
I agree. One can argue that with every long position there is a short position. When you go long TSLA you’re actually shorting the dollar (or the rest of the economy, just how you look at it). There’s no inherent malice in shorting, the problem is in how it’s executed.
The newest V3 Superchargers here (EU) only have CCS. You can only charge your S or X by using an adapter. I guess the imminent refresh will have a CCS socket.
A broker called Lynx has assured me that I can trade ARK options with them. So I could obtain shares by trading synthetic longs (buy a call and sell a put at same strike) there. I am setting up an account with them. Unfortunately the process has been delayed because they are shifting their...
