I think Tesla needs to bring their refresh/changes/new colors and new models to market quicker. They don‘t want to become “appliances”. I love my Y, but someone like me that is passionate about vehicles will need to see a substantial upgrade before I would basically buy the same vehicle...

I just had the Hankook IONS mounted to my 20” wheels. Initial impressions are they are quiet, handling and ride seem good. I’ll have to wait and see how they are in the rain. I run dedicated tires in the winter so won’t have any winter driving feedback.

Have you tried driving with the rear seats folded down? I had some noises and found coming from the there.

Looks like an extremely poor install.

I have the OEM front mud flaps and I trim about and 1 1/4” off.

I have them on 20“ wheels. The wore extremely fast, became very loud and had a constant growl.

I can’t go left to right directional pattern but I’ll put my summer rim back on (w/Vredstein Quatrac Pro tire) to see if the sound goes away. It is strange that the gentleman with the Audi described exactly what I am hearing.

I just had a set of CrossClimate 2 installed on my Model Y OEM 19” wheels. I have noticed a thumping sound (flat spot sounding) that is only noticeable on driver front side and on very smooth pavement between 20-50 mph. I swapped the front and rear tire to make sure I didn’t have a defective...

So I formatted a new thumb drive and it worked. After that I figured I’ll try the Samsung SSD that stopped working, hit “format USB drive” and now it also seems to be working. Not sure why using a new drive helped the old one work again, 🤷🏼‍♂️ just happy I have my dash cam back.

Not sure why. Worked without one issue for 1 1/2 years and now can’t get it to work. I have even hit reformat drive and it says it was successful. Would be nice if Tesla would let everyone know what software version should be the one to fix the issue.

Just downloaded 2022.16.2 still not working.

The other thing is that even though I upgraded the software Monday it still shows in the software screen that software up to date as of June 5th?? It usually updates to the current day when you download or check for latest software.

Just installed 2022.16.1.2 dash cam still is not working. 😩

Same issue. Have been using the Samsung 1TB hard drive for 1 1/2 years with no issues, now on 2022.12.3.2 and have the dreaded red X on the icon. Tried unplugging and rebooting by that hasn’t resolved the issues.

After a couple back and forth calls the SC manager agreed to replace the seat covers. 👍🏻

I had to reschedule my appointment, waiting for the new part. My service appointment is now Saturday the 19th.

I believe they are going to replace the camera. Waiting for parts to make my SC appointment.

If you are in a snow area I would do both for sure.

The seat bottom is fine and cleans up great. I wear jeans everyday and there is no dye transfer. I am convinced that there is something wrong with the material of the seat back only not the bottom. You can even feel the back material has a rougher feeling and not as smooth as the seat bottom.

I got the “normal wear and tear” message from the SC which I think is BS!

Yes to both. It wasn’t lowered in those pics but it is now with MPP coilovers.

Fold the seats down and see if the noise goes away.

I have strange purple spots showing up on the rear camera display. The interesting thing is when looking at the camera in live view there is only one spot but if you look at a sentry mode video or the camera view via the phone app there are several spots. I have a service appointment the end of...

Tried that. If I fold the middle section down all the rattles go away.

Is it hard to take off both panels? SC didn’t fix the rattles figured I would try to add some foam between the panel and seat frame.

Stock Blue. Can really look different depending on light.
