    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 7-8 - SLC-4E

Forgot all about it, just watched the replay. New crew making announcements and one error when the landing burn started the person said "Entry burn start up" but quickly corrected to "Landing burn startup" :)

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-33 - SLC-40

Just keeps on trucking. These launches are so frequent it's amazing how many satellites they've been able to build and launch this year.

    SpaceX F9 - Project 425 Flight 1 - SLC-4E

17th launch of this booster- amazing..

Holiday travel availability / congestion at CA Superchargers; possible solutions, complaints, comments, discussion

CCS at Quartzite is a joke- Singlehandedly setting EV adoption back 10 years as fare as I'm concerned. We used it this summer with our Lighting and while we successfully charged it wasn't pleasant at all. (only 1 station worked at full rate both times we were through there, luckily we got...

Holiday travel availability / congestion at CA Superchargers; possible solutions, complaints, comments, discussion

I looked at utilization about 3:00pm up and down I-5 There were open stalls at all the major Supercharger sites- Tejon Ranch, Kettleman City, Harris Ranch, Stella Nella, Firebaugh. Some of the smaller sites appeared to ether be down to just a couple of stalls or full, but I think that...

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-29 - SLC-40

Never gets old - Interestingly they lost the video TM from the Falcon 9 during the landing burn. But they had good coverage of the actual landing.

    Supercharger - Wilsonville, OR (LIVE 17 Nov 2023, 8 V4 stalls)

Damn, just missed it - we charged at Woodburn about 10:30 yesterday morning, and I didn't even think to try Willsonville. Bummer.

Supercharger - Santa Nella, CA (LIVE, 48 V3 stalls)

FWIW. Contractor for the Rivian chargers was on site today dipping some wiring in the Rivian stalls. They look close to complete with two of them as pull through stalls for Rivians hauling trailers.

Supercharger - Redding, CA - Hilltop Dr. (LIVE 15 Nov 2023, 44 stalls)

I too can confirm it’s online. Used it this afternoon. Although it wasn’t yet in the cars nav it did show in the app. $.48/KWH so more expensive than sites further south but same as Sundial.
  11. M

    SpaceX F9 - Transporter 9 - SLC-4E

I don't think it launched today. This List_of_Falcon_9_and_Falcon_Heavy_launches Says Saturday morning now, I didn't see a reason, although they are probably busy making sure the ISS resupply mission goes off without a hitch

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-27 - SLC-40

I just checked and it was slightly delayed,, Now (as of 6:30 MST) set for 12:05AM EST Nov 8th... And SpaceX shows a webcast will be available at their site again. Hallelujah

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-26 - SLC-40

Looks like there is a launch tonight. ( 11/3/23) from SLC -40 6:30EDT 18th flight of this booster! Amazing It's so routine now no publicity to speak of surrounding it. Hope it's successful Video link maybe?: https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=sl-6-26

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

@ BigEarl, I'm sorry, I didn't see the blue triangle on the map, it was hidden behind the red circle. Keep up the good work !
  17. M

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

@BigEarl I don't think we've seen this updated over on Supercharge.info. Hopefully you can do that
  18. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 7-6 - SLC-4E

Enjoy the time off :) Thank you for keeping the data flowing when you are around though!

    Supercharger - Pasco, WA (LIVE 20 Apr 2023, 8 V3 stalls)

So that stall down the way seems like maybe it's a bit off kilter Did someone back into it?

    turn signals

Of course you have to turn your mind over and swipe the opposite direction using your right hand instead of your left if the Yoke/Wheel is upside down
  21. M

    turn signals

FWIW- I find I can use my thumb to swipe up for right and swipe down for left turn signal - that seems to be the best way to activate them if the yoke/wheel isn't straight ahead when you want to activate the signal.. YMMV
  22. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-22 - SLC-40

Hold Hold Hold. I hope it's nothing bad Upper level winds exceed threshold. Retry tomorrow evening

Supercharger - Glendale, AZ - West Northern Avenue

I think there is another supercharger under construction in Glendale. At least according to Plugshare. 5849 Northern ave is the one pictured with the Magic Docks At least that is what Plugshare shows. Maybe we all missed one and there are really 2 different Glendale superchargers...

    Launch is Imminent

I own a Lighting and just completed a 1650 mile trip using EA and EVgo chargers which varied in cost from 0.21/KWH to 0.59/KWH- At least I was able to get charged at each, which was iffy unlike Tesla Superchargers which just plain work, Can't wait for Access in the F150 Lightning. I spent...

SpaceX Launch Videos Discussion: NSF, X/Twitter, and other options

I don't want a Twitter,Facebook, Instagram etc account, I barely want a TMC account. Just don't need the grief these things have caused and won't support them.

SpaceX Launch Videos Discussion: NSF, X/Twitter, and other options

I guess I'm not smart enough to get X to load with out a log in- I have no desire to have a log in there so I'm out. I really enjoyed watching SpaceX launches and commenting on them here. I'm disappointed in this move.

Wiki SpaceX as a Company - General Discussion

It's sad it has to be this hard- Why can't SpaceX just keep the YouTube live streams and add the X live stream That would be the right thing to do.
  31. M

Wiki SpaceX as a Company - General Discussion

Apparently you got lucky, I use Safari, and it immediately threw up a log in screen with on option to do anything else. I guess I'm out EDIT- So I just tried this, I clicked on the "read XXX replies" in the link and it brought up the page w/o a log in screen. Not sure why that worked...

Wiki SpaceX as a Company - General Discussion

Sorry it requires a log in to X Ugh...

Wiki SpaceX as a Company - General Discussion

That appears to be true as near as I can tell- too bad- I did catch the launch on youtube with nasaspaceflight they caught an really cool image of the rocket passing in front of the moon. So that was a bonus :) They also pieced in some of the live feed from SpaceX. Not sure...

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-12 - SLC-39A

Nope- Have to have an account to watch it. Not happening .. I watched on youtube with the coverage from nasaspaceflight.
  35. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-12 - SLC-39A

Looks like maybe SpaceX has been instructed to make their live launch coverage available on X ( Twitter) only starting today- I hope this is just a joke. I for one don't plan to sign up of an account on X. If it's true, I'll sadly miss watching each launch and landing.
  36. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-13 - SLC-40

No host again. it's so routine now. Slightly off center landing. Sound of the accent is pretty nice to hear until MECO...
  37. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-11 - SLC-40

No host again, and they cut the broadcast before SECO-1 weird. But it all looked good to this amateur's eye:)
  38. M

    SpaceX F9 - Crew 7 - LC-39A

Scrubbed for tonight, Not sure why yet, but something technical according to one thing I saw on Spaceflightnow
  39. M

Supercharger - Shoreline, WA (Under Construction Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

It's possible it's only 10 stalls, but the equipment cabinets in the picture should support 12 stalls ( 4 per cabinet) Maybe there is a reason they can't put in 12?
  40. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 7-1 - SLC-4E

hadn't considered that the drone ship might get caught in the Hurricane - I wonder if they got it back to port already then? or if it's just going to ride it out, out there?
  41. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 7-1 - SLC-4E

Now scheduled for Monday Wonder what's up with it?
  42. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-8 - SLC-40

All good so far, Pretty quick turn around of SLC 40 it was less than 4 days ago they launched Galaxy from SLC 40
  43. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-7 - SLC-40

Successful launch and landing, Noticed some thunderstorms in the FOV during the flight. Guess, they were far enough away. I assume the Starlink satellites were successfully deployed, I didn't look before typing this
  44. M

    SpaceX FH - Jupiter 3 (Echostar 24) - LC-39A

And delayed until the 28th. Same bat time same bat channel
  45. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-7 - SLC-40

I see that the FH launch is going to use RTLS for the side boosters now. That is a change since the launch was first announced
  46. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-7 - SLC-40

Serious question- How are they going to launch both this and Falcon heavy within an hour of each other and land all 3 boosters on drone ships? Do they have 3 drone ships in the Atlantic now? I suspect something has to move, probably this launch Or are they doing RTLS LZ1 and LZ2 now...
  47. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 6-6 - SLC-40

All good so far, still amazes me every time Great sun set views of the accent
  48. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 5-15 - SLC-40

And he said the scrub was due to an elevated O2 reading So it was a technical issue, not a weather issue. Glad it worked. Wonder if there will be a 17th flight?
  49. M

    SpaceX F9 - Starlink Group 5-15 - SLC-40

The announcer said there was a 75% chance on the weather at about T-2min. It was scrubbed right when the LD should have been saying LD go for launch, so maybe it was weather? Not sure, They may tell us when they set up to launch again
