You are going to want to cover the mirror trim as well, which is the hardest part. Here's another kit that covers both:
Chrome Delete Kit fitting...
It's definitely grey/black. No hints of brown/amber.
Look closely - are there any small debris inside the dots? If not, then it's normal, and will go away once the moisture evaporate in a couple of...
XR or XR Plus? What's your location?
I would keep a close eye on the corner in the next couple of weeks. You are not out of the woods yet!
That's unfortunate :( I wonder if RPM Tesla's OEM replica spoiler fits any better?
The PPF was put on after the install. This is because I had to be sure that the spoiler would stay on, which meant waiting for a few days to check...
The tech that installed my 2nd spoiler said they return the removed ones to the manufacturer and gets some credit for each returned spoiler....
Good luck. Hope this one sticks!

Good to know. I PPFed it primarily so it's glossy and matches all of my other glossy CF accessories. I didn't think the spoiler would need much...
I PPFed it to match all of the glossy CF items I already have.
Difference between my first and second spoiler:
I polished off the ceramic coating at the trunk lid edge myself, since I had all of the paint correction equipment, before letting Tesla install...
That sounds bad. Do you have any pictures of the issue?
You can maybe heat up the general area a little. Heat helps to make the adhesive layer softer and more pliable, thus easier to remove. I forgot to...
3M automotive molding tape. It won't damage your paint. The techs use heat gun, nylon fishing line, alcohol wipes, and eraser wheels to remove any...
The RPM Tesla one is also worth considering.
Ugh, sorry to hear :( What's your next step? Going to try again?
I'm starting to see P3s being delivered with the spoiler pre-installed. Hopefully that means supplies have finally caught up and folks who still...
Yes, got my 2nd spoiler, which fits better and is staying put. Going to keep this one I think.
RPM now has an OEM spoiler replica:
Model 3 Carbon Fiber Performance Spoiler (From $229)
My installer is doing mine for $60-80 with glossy PPF. I imagine matte PPF is a little more.
Matte PPF (Suntek or XPEL) would have been my next suggestion if you want it to be even more matte.
The OEM spoiler is already a matte finish. I'm trying to turn it into a glossy finish with glossy PPF lol.
Yes, it's not visible unless you get up extremely close like your photo. It's a non-issue for me. The adhesive does not extend all of way to the...
I get the feeling that they are pretty much all like that, even the good installs.
I feel like the system in the Model 3 sounded better than the HK systems in recent BMWs as well the Bang and Olufsen system in my R8. But I'm not...
I thought the 3's sound system is rather pretty good. What don't you like about it?
Ceramic coating should be polished off at the trunk edge prior to spoiler installation.
That's a good price for XR. It's around $700 here. Plus is even more.
To be fair, they seem to be making their way to TX. I've seen installs in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
Did they install it with the jig?
Wow, that seems really haphazard. Keep your eyes on those corners, there's a chance they may lift in a couple of days.
That's pretty bad. My 2nd...
Don't forget the $3750 tax credit.
Quick update: 5 days later, the corners are still holding on the 2nd spoiler.
I don't mind the styling. It's funky. Besides, they also made for good commute cars so I could drive my R8 just on the weekends.
I've actually had two i3s :) They are nice cars, just a little short on range.
At least you don't have state rebate at all. We actually have a $2500 state EV rebate, except Tesla is explicitly illegible for it due to powerful...
Yep, also about $6k down for me factoring in tax credit and the refund.
I passed on the $2k FSD. There is no tangible benefits yet, and IMHO the price will drop again. Tesla prices always drop over time.
$15k cheaper now for my car, but such is life of an early adopter :p
No, it's only for Performance models bought before the $5k price drop.
So far so good. 3 days later now and the corners are still staying put. Weird thing is, the part number (-00-A) and manufacture date is the same...
Heat gun, dental floss, eraser wheel, and alcohol wipes.
I don't think anyone has tried. If you do try it, let us know how it goes.
@aspec818 a few posts up said the revised spoiler also did not fit well, so I'm not sure if the revised spoiler is the answer. I just got the 2nd...
Obvious SOME of the existing spoilers fit well, as reported by some of the owners. So it seems like it's more a luck of the draw with the current...
I did. Already chrome deleted it too.
Got appointment to replace my spoiler on Monday. Fingers crossed!

Lots of examples in that thread.
