Separate names with a comma.
I'd estimate one 50' roll should do the trick. I believe my installer used about 60' on my Model S.
P100DL is amazing. You won't regret it.
Every Ghibli owned I've interacted with at car meets has been driven by someone who actually thinks they're driving a $150,000 700hp sedan and...
Nice vanity plate!
Friends don't let friends use fake CF vinyl. :D
Look, I'm really not trying to start a back and forth about Chemical Guys on OPs thread. I was simply pointing out to OP that if they do go with a...
If it has, I sure can't tell. It sucked in 2012 and it sucks now. :D
I got about 6-7k.
They create multiple variations of nearly identical products to trick enthusiasts into thinking they need five of essentially the same product. Do...
FWIW, Chemical Guys is nothing but marketing. No one in the detailing world respects them.
To OP, go to a professional detailer. No reason to go...
Did you do the $7,000 Xpel? I can’t imagine spending that much on PPF on a Model 3.
OP: I’d go with satin grey. Everyone and their mom has...
+1 for WashMist.
In no world is full PPF worth it on any Tesla unless you really don’t care about spending the money. Partial PPF, sure.
Definitely. I messaged them here a week ago to no avail.
You must be speeding through potholes. 22" on my previous MS for 5 years and on my current MS for 1 year, no blown sidewalls.
I'd never do it. It looks way easier than it really is. But if for some reason you really want to do it, watch CK Wraps on YouTube. He is truly...
Unless something changed, this isn't true? Hoping I'm wrong, of course.
On topic (since half the thread is off topic): I've been in limbo...
Without fail, every single time I'm here.
P.S. to Ian W, you left both of your ($240+) receipts from Jake's; you're a pretty bad tipper.
The chance of getting a ticket with 50% is still incredibly low. I have 15-20% on all of my cars and I've only gotten one ticket (when I was...
Learn the steps to prevent swirls/scratches.
Absolutely. Especially when people post super off-axis photos that make it look way darker than straight on.
I had a bunch of cellular disconnects on 12.1.2 (I believe it was). Seems better on 16.x update.
I've heard a few reports of this.
Also curious about brackets/adapters.
I'd just find a hand wash detailer you like. I like The Detail Guys by the airport (but will come to you for mini/full details).
Looks awesome. Personally, I'd just be concerned about ripping it off on a driveway or curb.
T emblem needs raised, or you need to make the vertical height of the black decal smaller since there's a ton of empty space above the T emblem....
People have to rationalize why what they own is better (goes both ways).
That first photo is atrocious. Wow.
Looks better than the fake carbon fiber bs everyone keeps sticking on though.
Getting both PPF + ceramic is a bad use of money on a Model 3 IMO. Not worth it on a car in this price range. You'll get $0 back come resell.
Looks like a great product! And kudos on taking the feedback to heart.
I think gunmetal would be cool!
Rounding the corners going up is pretty tight. Already almost got hit by some bozo who thought it would be cool to floor it when leaving and took...
Yes it's legal
Perhaps your statement about day 1 Model S badging? I got a P85 in Dec 2012 and it had "Model S P85" badging.
Also quite curious!
Matte/satin black is played out and has been for a few years now in the car world. I’d go grey.
It's definitely quite popular and time tested.
Curious why would they get a Pro on a Tesla?
Got my set! Woo!
Not that I've seen.
Got an email on March 3 saying they hope to see first production batch this week.
Same thing here after an update. Service center said nothing they can do.
As a P100D owner, I don’t think any of us would really care if Tesla at least had SOME exterior styling differences a la AMG.
Which vendors have had them?
Xpel protection film is much more expensive than a (standard) color changing film from 3M, Oracal, Avery, Vvivid, etc.
Anywhere from $2.8k-$5k depending on the specific film and installer. I'd say $3.5k is a common number I see in SD/OC/LA.
