My question: are you on v12 or v11? In my experience, a lot of what you described is fixed in 12. Or at least *much* better*. Maybe you need to give it another try. :)

Agree with everything you just said. My experience too. I'm an FSD user since 2019, and v 12 is night and day better than anything to-date.

My understanding is that 12.3 still uses the 11.x highway behavior. I haven't seen any dramatic improvement (or significant difference, for that matter) between 11.x and 12.3 on the highway. It is, however, *much* better on city streets.

Have you tried rebooting the car? My 12.3 installed with no issue over the weekend.

There are plenty of YouTube videos that show it working well--you need to be specific about your issues. You may have hardware or other issues specific to your car that need to be addressed.

I tried to use it several weeks ago when it was pouring down rain. It had a clear path to me, but pulled forward about 30 feet into the middle of a driveway in the parking lot and refused to move any farther. I'm hopeful it will improve once FSD technology is applied to it.

I've got the same issue, after using a 256G usb drive for a couple of months. Was unsuccessful using the CMD instruction online to remove write protection. I think the drive is permanently damaged.

Nope, not for me.

Once the car was older I would consider doing that, instead of trading it in. But never while it was my primary vehicle.
