    That works, thanks.

Was a good idea, but no difference unfortunately (Laptop on Windows 10, MS Edge).

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

And to post my Powerwall Cycles, using your post in the thread below. The energy_charged + energy_discharged figures ÷ 27,000. I should've posted there, since that's in the Australian section. Oh well.... Powerwall 1: 582.80 cycles (0.37 cycles per day) Powerwall 2: 463.14 cycles (0.36 cycles...

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

Ok, good to know - a similar age and degradation. Thanks. Interesting, I'm on v23.28.2. The last time I logged into the Gateway was end of Sep, and the web interface worked fine. And today I got this error below.

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

This thread is extremely interesting, thank you! I have 3x Powerwalls 2s (installed over different stages). And it looks like I have substantial battery degradation on the first two Powerwalls. Not 70% yet, but getting close. Nominal_full_pack_energy: 9936 (installed 9 July 2019) 10253...

    Wheel aerodynamics for symmetrical pairs

Great, thank you for the response. Yeah I really like the look of symmetrical turbines, so aftermarket covers are what I got.

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

Yeah I saw Astro66 mentioned $1850, but that was including the hitch/ball, correct. Tesla doesn't include one, so that's an additional downside. Unless someone doesn't mind if they're just attaching eg. a bike rack. And I must've misread JayTee's $1050 as $1850, my mistake...

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

Very true, I thought of that when I was typing, but then forgot. It's a notable difference.

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

The decision is yours in the end. From what others have said, both Carasel and Stealth cost $1850 installed. Tesla charged $1970. Is the $120 worth it to you that something will be blamed on the non-genuine hitch? The chances of that are very slim though - these 2 companies have good...

    AliExpress Gemini wheel cover

That's great. Which yeslak ones did you get? Looks like they resell the exact same Chinese ones as above, and ones identical to the Tesla Gemini covers but in different colors. And 3 other styles.

    AliExpress Gemini wheel cover

I'd be suspicious of range increase over stock Aero Covers. If there was a measurable difference, wouldn't Tesla run huge CFD simulations and easily get to that same outcome. The Geminis are pretty ugly imo, so it's not like they chose form over function. Airflow and turbulence through a wheel...

    AliExpress Gemini wheel cover

Sure. We got our car a few months ago, so they're installed now. I like that these come in matching pairs (mirror-imaged). So the left and right sides spin the correct way, unlike most wheels/covers.

What are favourite 19 inch wheel covers

Yeah I bet they're hard to find, since the 19 inch Model 3 Wheels don't come from Tesla with Aero Covers. I assumed no one made aero covers for them (unlike the 18" Model 3 or 19" Model Y wheels, that are made for wheel covers). You have what are called the 'Sport Wheels' in 19 inch? The only...

What are favourite 19 inch wheel covers

One thing to note, the factory Tesla Gemini covers touch the wheel here (circled in green), and causes scratching to the wheel over time. Whereas the aliexpress ones don't touch the wheel there. But they touch in a different spot on the front face, circled in orange. So I put some tape there...

What are favourite 19 inch wheel covers

Yeah I understand. I've been lucky with AliExpress, but it's the Chinese eBay. So it could go either way depending on the seller. Most Tesla Accessory suppliers in the US sell the same Chinese products at a mark-up, but hopefully the better ones do a quality control before sending the items on...

What are favourite 19 inch wheel covers

They're the closest to the factory Uberturbines that I have seen. And I like those a lot 😎

    Wireless Controller - Gaming

Based on the lack of response, I guess rumble/vibration is not something that is common with the Tesla games. UPDATE: Since my first post, I had the Logitech F710s rumble twice in Beach Buggy Racing, but it is rare. Both times were when a few explosions happened at the same time eg. getting hit...

    Gemini black wheel covers?

They're going well so far. Happy with the mirror imaged design and quality. I took them on and off a few times, and they're tough (clip on strongly and plastic had no issues). I got Gunmetal, but they also sell them in black. Getting as good efficiency as with stock ones.

What are favourite 19 inch wheel covers

These are my favourite. They come in Black or Gunmetal (pictured). And they're mirror imaged for left and right. I got them from AliExpress, and they arrived in 3 weeks. Basically all come from China anyway. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1005005043464925.html

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

Same for me - I'll mainly be using the Towbar for a bike rack. crc77 is the one who posted the pictures, so hopefully he can answer the question. I just looked up the hitch specs and compared them to the Tesla Manual. I'm getting my Towbar in a few weeks (was pushed back due to it not arriving...

    Wireless Controller - Gaming

Does anyone actually get rumble/vibration on a controller when playing in the Tesla? If so, which controller? I got two Logitech F710 Wireless Controllers, and they work great in my 2023 MYP. Even 2 player Beach Buggy Racing works well via a USB Hub in the glovebox. But I don't get any rumble...

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

I thought it looked a bit close as well, but the specs are exactly what Tesla says they should be in the US Manual linked above. It's exactly the maximum 22cm Pin to Ball length that they specify. It also mentions maximum rise of 2cm. That looks about right as well, although I didn't see any...

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

Excellent information, thank you! And yeah, I understand now how the chain could rest on the plastic based on some diagrams in that link. I saw a few different types online at Repco, incl a longer one. But maybe that was already the one you were considering. It's called: Repco Tow Hitch Long...

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

Wow, thank you for the information! Good to know... Maybe it a US size - the Tesla specs over there say it's a 2" hitch receiver. Yeah, the Repco one seems to be the only 52mm one I can find as well. And a bike carrier was on my list eventually, so that's important too, thanks. I'll have to...

Model Y Tow Package available soon from Tesla Australia

I got the Tow Package email today (SE QLD) :). I only got the car 10 days ago, but had put my name down for the Towbar when I ordered it in Q4 of last year. It's booked in for early April.

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

It's a small world, I'm in Jimboomba as well! The only Tesla I regularly see is along Peppertree Drive (White Model 3). Good to hear there are going to be some more. Maybe I got lucky and my Gold Coast delivery centre wasn't as busy as Brisbane. It's about the same travel time, and was...

Hehe, one of our cats has been in the MYP already yes, white parked. The logo isn't her nose (they're females). But after Elon replied 'Yes' to a tweet in 2019 asking if the Tesla logo is a cat's nose, that had to be my TMC profile pic. Good name though, if I get a male cat! Not a great picture...

The SA called yesterday and said 'I see you've paid your Invoice. Instead of waiting for those Port Delays, we have an identical White/Black MYP sitting here right now. Do you want that one?' Brisbane Port today 😃. In the upper half of the picture are 70-100+ Teslas. Seems to be a lot of M3s, but definitely some MYs. And the Dual Motor badge can be seen of you look closely. Not sure if that ship (Heroic Ace) was the one they came off. But there were non-Tesla Cars driving off that RoRo.

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

Definitely worth looking around. Even Bob Jane said they usually get heavily beaten on price by Tyresales.com.au. But I checked all of those, and surprisingly, Bob Jane was the cheapest a few months ago. **Note that I didn't compare Load Ratings with the other sizes (apart from the 19s I got)...

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

At the time I didn't look into 20" tyres, since I'm fitting the 19" Geminis I bought off someone onto my MYP when it arrives (and selling the 21" Überturbines). The Geminis didn't come with tyres, so I had the Michelin Pilot Sport EVs fitted to them, with TPMs I bought from Tesla's online shop...

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

I paid $620ea for factory sized 19" MYLR tyres for Geminis (will be swapping out the 21" MYP Überturbines). So maybe 21" tyres are even more, because my price for the 19s was the cheapest I could find. But I did get the Michelin Pilot Sport EVs (they come in factory in the 20" MY wheels in...

Yep, I was expecting a lowball offer, but Tesla's offer was a total joke. Definitely selling it privately.... I know...

    Gemini black wheel covers?

Once advantage I've noticed over the factory covers, is they shouldn't damage the face of the wheel. Time will tell, but these aftermarket ones don't touch the wheel on the front face, unlike the factory ones.
  45. tom_kauf

    Gemini black wheel covers?

They look and feel good quality. As good as the original covers, and the same metal clips and inner metal ring as factory. I'm actually still a few months away from my Y arriving, so I can't put them on yet. But I compared them against set of gemini covers, and I'm happy with them. These from...

    Tesla Model Y-LR in Australia

I'm in the same boat, I would've preferred a Y-LR, but I'm solving the 21" Uberturbine Wheel 'problem'. I bought a guy's set of 19" Gemini Wheels without tyres, and hoping to get Michelin Pilot EV tyres for them. And I ordered aftermarket Aero Covers to replace the imo ugly ones. Many high...
