Well now it’s happening while the vehicle is plugged in so no improvements it’s actually worse. Also I typically start my day with 209rm after losing 3rm overnight. Today I am at 204rm so significant phantom draw overnight after this update.

I would disagree regarding blocking a spot - Tesla charges idle fees so I would not be supercharging if there were more than 1-2 cars upon arrival. I think #2 is a big enough reason to avoid supercharging unless it’s needed if this is the case. I also have free supercharging.

There is a supercharger right outside my new gym. Typically I charge every night to 90%. Would it be ok to plug in 3-5 times per week to charge from 50% to 90% or should I just park in a regular space :D

Tesla is realizing they have to start cutting off new features MCU1 can’t handle like the DashCam feature. Sure, there are no side cameras but it would be nice to be able to utilize the existing camera for this purpose. I’m sure this is just the beginning of future limitations for MCU1.

Yeah. I think all they are concerned with at this point is new car sales vs supporting the existing base. Not a sustainable strategy for the long haul but what can you do.

Can’t compare this to an iPhone LOL it’s a $90,000 car not a $1,000 phone...or a $5,000 high end computer purchased 4 years ago for example. There has to be an upgrade path made available by Tesla at some point in the near future.
