Model 3 LR AWD bald rear tires @ 4200 miles

Toe out of spec on a 2019 car with 4200 miles! Awesome Tesla! Just awesome So dont ever stop? and dont used the car how it was designed? all 4 tire pressures were at 45 warm every day, never over or under inflated. I will never claim i have never drove the car hard when it comes to...

Model 3 LR AWD bald rear tires @ 4200 miles

I'll get some full cross tread pix in the morning, pressures were 42 cold all the way around since new, end up around 45 when warm. Im guessing the 299 wh/mi is due to high speeds on the freeway as i dont go around punching it all day in traffic. only time i checked 0-60 it ran a 4.02, as far...

Model 3 LR AWD bald rear tires @ 4200 miles

I know many will say this is due to how i drive, but were talking about a tire with a 45,000 warranty only getting 10% of that and they are bald. And the traction control will never allow the tires to spin. Now i'll admit i have done some hard launches when the car was brand new but that was...

    Lowering the Model 3

I imagine the bottom of your car scrapes everywhere like speed bumps and high centering on driveway slopes. I only have the UP moderate springs and mine scrapes in those scenarios

How much benefit in going to 18"/19" tires on a performance?

Not sure if the other wheels (18/19) will fit the performance model, due the the machined lip on the perf. hubs and the big brakes. The 19" might if you install a spacer to clear the lip in the hub. My guess is the 18" is not possible

    Lowering the Model 3

the way to measure is from the ground to the battery, at least thats how MPP do it

    Lowering the Model 3

Pretty sure they all have more clearance in front than the rear because the fronts turn. Did you measure when it was first done and they were the same?

What defects have you found at/after delivery?

My car was purchased with AP but it was not installed on the car when i picked it up. I waited a few days and the update never came. After posting on one of the facebook pages about it, a Tesla SC employee said i can force the update for you, and said something like it gets in a hold if the car...

What defects have you found at/after delivery?

I honestly believe the employees are pissed, numerous have complained to me they are doing way more work dealing with the volume the Model 3 has created and no new hires. It wouldn't surprise me if they are not capable of caring when they are overworked. The scratches on my car look like they...

What defects have you found at/after delivery?

I got my car in late march, i had read of the paint issues people were having, so i went to delivery with that in mind. I even asked the DA if the car was inspected and perfect, he said oh yes we wouldn't assign you a VIN if the car wasn't ready. When i check the car out, immediately the driver...

    Lowering the Model 3

I hear you, might slightly drop lap times, but for normal daily street driving i don't notice any difference in feeling with 15mm Front & 20mm Rear.

    Lowering the Model 3

Spacers make no difference in the handling feel at all. Feels the same, def does not feel like a honda without power steering.

How long to correct damage discovered at delivery?

I was told the same and no one called, i scheduled an appt via the app and got in 2 weeks later. Of course now they've had my car for 4 days and are saying they are waiting on approval from corporate to fix the paint. Lets see how long this takes. They did give me a 75D MS loaner, which im not a...

Unplugged Performance Moderate Springs on my Model 3

Stock camber arms are not adjustable, any amount of lowering will result in Camber specs being close to the limit, Mild springs right at the limit, Moderate, just over the stock spec limit. I have the MPP camber adjuster's but any will do the job.

Unplugged Performance Moderate Springs on my Model 3

Yes UP installed them, flat $300 took 3 hrs. I put MPP camber links on just before i took the car to UP, they were preset for a lowered car, but mine were setup a bit longer than needed, so i have some positive camber going to get an alignmentASAP. If you don't put adjustable camber links in...

    Lowering the Model 3

Lowered my car with Unplugged Performance moderate springs, installation was $300 at UP in Hawthorne. B&W edit in photoshop! Still need to get it aligned, MPP camber adjusters came longer than stock, so a bit of positive camber in this pic. Car also has spacers 15mm up front, 20mm in the rear

I bought a Tesla OEM spoiler from a P3D customer that didnt want it. Paid $500 and installed it myself, i thought i was getting a deal but it was installed once and i had a hell of a time removing the old double sided tape.

My car was delivered with a bunch of paint scratches and defects, i was assured at delivery Tesla would sort it out, was asked to send pix of the damage, Delivery agent also took pix at delivery, so not sure why they made me take pix as well. i sent the pix and was told a case would be opened...
