Here’s what Immersive Sound does in SR+

Nice find. I don't like immersive for a lot of music, been wondering exactly what its doing. I'll try this.

Anyone applied door seals (for noise) per this video / tweet?

It's possible that it will reduce some cabin noise but imho not worth the effort. I think we notice the wind noise in these cars more since they are quieter than ICE cars. These videos focus on the sound the door itself makes when closed - a real test would be a dB meter in cabin during 70 MPH...

Want painted calipers? Don't want to spend $600+ on them?

I like the stock silver ones :) Looks good either way though.

Irritated after 4 days of SR ownership.

Well nobody forced you to buy the M3P. If you can afford it, then color me jealous. I agree, the SR seems to be a tremendous value but I WISH I could justify/afford a dual motor performance version. If you CAN'T afford it, then you made a mistake that isn't Tesla's fault in any way. If you're...

How many times have there been sales on AP/FSD?

They did the right thing by milking all the early adopters and people with spare cash on hand. Now it's time to harvest the rest of the holdouts. The only way to do that is entice with price. Not saying give it away obviously. I need this company to stick around - I'm already in too deep and...

How many times have there been sales on AP/FSD?

It's a bit silly that AP is still thousands of dollars on a car that is supposed to be ahead of everyone in every way... But it costs $650 on a Nissan  Long-Term 2018 Nissan Leaf: Electric Autonomy—Putting Nissan’s Pro Pilot Assist to the Test "Nissan’s ProPilot Assist is part of a...

Anyone else get a second autopilot trial?

How long did you wait before the trial kicked in the first time? Just curious, still waiting for mine.

    Tesla model 3 hubcaps

He's probably confusing handling and ride. Ride is definitely not better. Handling is. I commute in this car and enjoy how comfortable it is. I've had my share of bumpy cars, in fact selling a Fista ST at the moment, and may sell my old BMW M3 at some point too. Both are manual. For now that's...

    Tesla model 3 hubcaps

Looks great. I suspected the hubcaps damage the wheel - not just when taking them off constantly. Anyone want mine? They aren't even good enough to be wall art. My average MPH is way bellow the speeds where you'd see a benefit - which is a couple percent in the best cases. Sadly most of my...

    Pictures of production Model 3s

Love it. 18s have better ride for what it's worth. I'm keeping mine, butt getting better tires when the time comes. Also more tire choices and better price.

At work. Most say this car looks best from the front, but the butt isn't bad either!

How many Teslas you see a day?

I work in La Jolla, CA - so dozens. San Diego is crawling with them in general, especially the higher income areas like Del Mar, La Jolla, etc.

    Tesla model 3 hubcaps

They are ugly as sin, probably on purpose to upsell wheels to people who don't know there's gorgeous sport wheels hiding behind them. 18 inch means more sidewall and thus better ride. I'm quite happy with it. Now just need to buy the center caps...

    Now that autopilot is included......

Much of what businesses do (not just Tesla) can be construed as unethical. When you buy something and later it goes on sale, naturally you may feel cheated in some way. I've heard people bicker about this stuff at Costco and Home Depot with customer service. Sometimes they price-match...

    Now that autopilot is included......

It is understandable, but you had a choice - you could have NOT bought it. You wanted it and you were okay with the price. Today the same iPhone costs less than mine did when i got it. Same goes for my laptop. Same goes for my other car, too. It's a 2017 and I can buy it for about $8k less...

    Now that autopilot is included......

Exactly which is why AP is now included. Every car maker is adding this, Tesla needs to stay ahead of the game in terms of features AND value, not fall behind. Soon everyone will have a ground-up design EV, including VW with a $22k variant. Tesla will be pretty much forced to give away AP at...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

As far as enhanced cruise control AKA "AP" - Nissan now has it on cheap cars. Tesla needed to make it standard, I agree with that move 100%. However they also need to make money. The people who placed orders before the changes were made, but did not receive the car are in a weird flux - the...

    SR Not Plus Waiting Room

REAR seat heaters will be turned off, FYI I will confirm once I pick mine up this week, but everything I saw says front has heat in SR, even in the planned but unrealized cloth variant.
