About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

So I ended up getting Car 1. The Frunk code went away and I've not had any issues getting into trunk, etc. Will keep an eye on it tho. The pump codes still remain. I tried booking a service appointment with Tesla but they want to know how I diagnosed the pump is bad. I sent them a screenshot of...

About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

Update: So I eventually heard back from Tesla thru my messages about the Battery Coolant Pump 1 replacement - Car 1codes. I sent them screenshots and asked to set up an appointment for a car I was buying. They said "If the codes don't show under normal driving then don't worry about it If there...

About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

I can get a great deal.... and they would be willing to reduce price possibly by repair amount... if I only knew what repair amounts would be? That's the part I'm having trouble getting info on. Battery Coolant Pump 1 replacement - Car 1 Heater elements and DCDC fuse replacement - Car 2

About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

After doing some research it looks like the pump replacement isn't a deal-breaker: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/how-many-coolant-pumps-does-s-have.60124/page-2 Also for future reference here's a video of how to replace coolant pumps: Would love to know how much Tesla would charge to...

About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

Dealership wants me to make offer, they are not looking to take it to Tesla to get looked at. Not to mention the Tesla Service center is backed up at least a month anyway.

About to buy another Model S... These codes are showing... Worth it?

So I'm considering a 100D purchase. It has the following codes showing. I've looked thru the forums and did not see a specific thread on how much it would cost to fix these? Battery Pump. From my understanding the Model S has 3 pumps and the 1 & 2 are not too bad to replace. Any ideas on what it...

New Model S wheels don’t fit fender

Do you know what grade studs they use? I cannot find that info on the website and am searching for spacers with better studs than the 10.9 that most everyone uses. I've already snapped studs before and know too many Tesla owners that aren't aware of how the torque will kill most spacers.... If...

    MS P85D wheel spacers?

Anyone else had issues with the lugs getting sheared off? I've had plenty of cars with no issues before but this morning I just walked out to a sheared lug bolt on mine. I'm guessing the higher torque values of the Tesla are going to require some premium adapters. mine were the 20MM. Trying to...

    Speed Adjusting Audio Volume?

Agree. I was just looking for this feature the other day. Especially when I have the roof open and windows down I find myself adjusting the volume more.

    Finally ready to present - S75D + Wheels + Tint + Spacers

I have stock 5 spoke 19's and the 20 MM spacers on mine allow the lug bolts to stick out too far so the wheel can't go flush with the spacer. Thinking I need at least 25's but don't really want to go that wide on front. Anyone with stock 19's have issues or are my lug bolts just unusually long?

Buying a "CPO" from Tesla that was in an accident

You are very lucky. I nor anyone else who has been looking into used Teslas through their CPO/Used program has been lucky enough to get a sales advisor that actually communicates anything to you. Granted, the car is amazing but the used sales communication has many opportunities for...

    CPO hold time?

It's been a week since I posted that... and no responses from Sales Advisor, Delivery Advisor, or the Delivery centers... I've not been lucky at getting a response from anyone. No ETA on delivery still. Will cross fingers and keep hoping I guess...

What Fees are really included in Used Purchase?

I got my information sheet from Tesla Finance and noticed that the section titled "Approximate Sales Tax/Official Fees" had a rather large $ amount in it. Being in NC I know I would be responsible for 3% Highway use tax and most likely a title fee ... but that doesn't even account for 1/2 of...

Delivery Poll... How long from Deposit to actual Arrival of your car?

I was checking on those who purchased used and had it SHIPPED to another destination. It sounds like that is typically the big hold-up. And trying to get an ETA has been difficult.

Delivery Poll... How long from Deposit to actual Arrival of your car?

It's been a week and I have no ETA at all on when my car will be shipped. :-( I've read the reviews from some who have taken weeks and some who have taken days... just curious for those who have been through it how long did it really take from placing your deposit on your car to actually taking...

    CPO hold time?

That's what I'm afraid of. It sounds like the delivery process starts when they have enough vehicles ready to fill up the truck (typically 6). That could take days or weeks...

    Stupid CPO Question.. What's included?

Got a copy of the 70 point inspection report that the Model S has to pass from another member. Noticed that it only has to have 1 key fob and no mention of including floor mats at all.... Hmm.

My CPO Process so far.. with questions..

So far my local Service Center has been the most helpful. My Tesla CPO sales rep only contacted me after I emailed the Finance center back after several days and asked if they could give me any information on how to get the delivery process started. First and only time I've talked to my sales...

    Stupid CPO Question.. What's included?

Thanks. Good to know. I didn't even think of the 2 key fobs vs 1 (my last car only came with 1).I'm doing some researching now and found some other member's checklist of things to look over but didn't see the 4/32 tire info or floormat specifications.

    Stupid CPO Question.. What's included?

I was wondering if they have to include anything in particular... like floor mats? (The one I'm getting did not show floor mats in any of the pics so didn't know if that was negotiable?) Tires with at least 50% tread? (Can't tell from pics..if a tire has been plugged or has minimal tread do they...

My CPO Process so far.. with questions..

Shipping is flat rate of $2000 no matter the destination, non-negotiable. Heard from delivery agent a little bit ago... I have to give a decision on pickup or delivery... think I'm leaning towards delivery. He said he would check into me getting a "due bill" of any items to fix but not certain...

My CPO Process so far.. with questions..

That's what I was thinking. I put down to have it shipped. Figured it would be easier to deal with it locally when it arrives than to keep flying out to get it and check it over.

My CPO Process so far.. with questions..

Yep, I read that. My question is once I fly to pick up, and for example notice that the turn signal stalk is broken and Tesla and I agreed that it is covered and should be fixed.... do I have to wait for it to be fixed in Chicago, or can it be noted that it needs fixing and I still drive it home...

My CPO Process so far.. with questions..

Lurked on the Tesla site and EV-CPO.com for over a month checking out trends, prices, and just looking for the best deal on a P85 or 85D. Requested pictures on maybe 8-10 cars over the course of a few weeks once I felt comfortable with which cars were good deals. I requested a callback on...

    CPO hold time?

I spoke with the local delivery center before I put down my $2500 also because i was going to be out of town a week. They said it really depends on the delivery center and how much space (and how nice they are) is available to hold it. They told me a week should be fine but a month would of...

    CPO/Used Lessons Learned

Good initial post. I agree with most comments on here...poor pictures, hit and miss sales reps, etc. I'm early in the process, just paid deposit of $2500 today. Will do a write-up of my experience when completed. So far I've emailed and called my sales rep several times before putting down a...

How to find out "Put into Service" date?

Perfect. Thanks. Now if we could just get Tesla to include pics of that sticker in their 1 megapixel crappy photos that would be awesome.

How to find out "Put into Service" date?

So i've been lurking for over a month now and finally about to purchase my first Model S. My experience so far is that I've not really had luck getting anyone to answer some questions I've emailed in and I've also requested several callbacks (never received a call from anyone yet). Maybe you all...

Long time reader, Just picked up "Used" 2015 85D through Tesla

Glad to hear. Looking to purchase very soon also. I haven't had any communication requests followed up on so far so I'm a little leary... Fingers crossed.
