Take in to another body shop. Some Tesla authorized shops think they can charge extra, when in fact there is no difference in the repair techniques between a Model 3 and any other late model car. The 3 has a steel body with aluminum doors, hood and trunk. Don't be taken advantage of.

I am in the business, so my hope is someone with Tesla knowledge can point me in the right direction. With out the diagnostic software it's a guessing game. I will take it to Tesla as a last resort. Or see if Tesla will bench test my converter.

Call tesla service and tell them you have a salvage tesla that needs keys.

Yes we are all done. Tesla made the key cards. I was able to drive it in using the app to start the car.

Ive been dealing with insurance salvage for years. We never ask that question, just keep them coming.
