Tigard, OR location was free as of this morning. I just got my Tesla CCS adapter today and was planning to go back tomorrow morning (been getting free energy with my other EV). Kept my SOC low this past week in anticipation of receiving it so hopefully still free… :)

I agree with above post that it’s not worth a service appt, at least not until you give it some time to “relax”. I’ve gone from a Model 3 -> Y #1 -> Y #2 (all new) and each time my wife and I thought the doors were pretty hard to close but got better…until we got a new Tesla. :)

It’s normal but the seals will “soften” over time, making it easier to close.

There is a toggle to disable walk away lock for favorites also. Might have that on since you mentioned their house is set as a favorite.

I drove by a couple days ago also and saw some serious work being done to the pavement but didn’t take a closer look. Glad to see there’s proof that the space is going to be used for Tesla.

I submitted my application on the website on 2/6/22 and got approved today.

Just an update that my Oregon standard EV rebate for my 2022 MYP was marked as approved today. This is with the paperwork showing the vehicle listed as $61,990 on the Tesla paperwork, as I shared a few posts up.

No, from previous discussions, it seems the “purchase agreement” is available if you don’t finance with Tesla (paid in full or 3rd party financing).

No it shows as $62k + options

My application for a 2022 MYP (sale price of $65k) seems to be accepted. I can’t see any concerns with the 2022’s anymore since it’s specifically listed on the rebate website.

I got my new Y on 12/7 and I think I got the plates on 1/11.

Not sure if’s just an Oregon thing, but the key issue is that Tesla is adamant on having a single process for new registrations. I’m guessing it’s just as easy, if not easier, to transfer existing registration to new vehicle so I can’t see them going with the option of a temp tag.

Unless you’re trading in a car to Tesla and want to transfer the plates off your previous car, frustratingly, they will do nothing other than register your new car with the standard tree plates, even though it‘s not much more work to submit registration for a non-standard plate. You can’t order...

Any updated info on this being a possibility? And can you share your source on where this info came from? I’d love for this to become a reality.
