It has been a few weeks now and the sound continues. The sound continues for about 30 seconds or 1 minute even after I exited the car and I can hear it next to the front left pillar and side mirror. And when I start the car, the popping sound starts. Very odd

yes it started happening my M3 last week... I was using a USB hub. I removed the USB hub and connected the SSD directly to one of the Front USB ports, and now the TeslaCam icon shows up and starts to record automatically when I start the car.
