What's the treadwear rating on your tires? When I'm on the drag strip in summer, I run Nitto NT555RII drag radials with a rating of 100, which is sticky. The higher the number, the less sticky.

Just Google for "brake caliper painting services" and save a pile of cash. Same with the brake pads. Unplugged Performance has street/track pads for far less.

For the record, "flow forged" means this: The barrel part undergoes a forging process during manufacture. The spokes and center are just cast aluminum, not forged.

Tesla was unable to tell me which version of FSD is available for the monthly fee. But I bought it for a month a while back and was unimpressed. I thought it was dangerously bad. And it was nice to get basic Autopilot back.

I ordered street/track pads for the stock Model S Plaid calipers. The front set went together OK but the rears...no. Pads are from Unplugged Performance. The Tesla shop that did the install work, Parts3Xpress in Temple City, CA, shot this photo. Too little clearance. UP confirms the right brake...

I have a long trip coming up. I rented FSD for my 2021 MS Plaid several months ago and found it to be...uhh...not very good and not worth the price. This is a question about FSD version numbers. If I ordered FSD again, rental basis for one month, which version am I going to get? Thanks for any help.

It is possible Tesla did some kind of deal with Mazda. I guess we'll find out shortly.
