I was implying that the pictures posted are during bright sunny days, which would potentially obscure even the LED brake lights behind the raked rear windows. Big bright brake lights, you must admit would help even distracted drivers. That's all I'm saying.

You know, one thing I don't like about the Model 3/Y are the tiny rear brake lights. Do you guys think this contributes to rear ends? Both those crashes look like they are in bright mid-day light.

Unless you pick up your Tesla from Freemont, its shipped via diesel truck. Exports are shipped via giant ships using oil. The workers drive to the factory, they eat food shipped via truck, parts are made of plastics made from oil. You guys just don't realize how dependent we are on oil.

People are turning to suv/cuv’s because car designers are making sedans all look like coupes, with a ridiculous sloping roofline that makes getting into the back seat difficult and making the trunk area smaller. Lots of people only have one car so it’s important to have a practical car.

I wouldn't go blaming the guy. With autopilot, the car brakes a lot. Which makes it seem like the driver is texting not paying attention.

What SUV's are you seeing that look like military equipment? The best selling Toyota and Honda for example models are compact SUVs. They've dethroned cars as their most popular models. True, you can drive a fast car slow, but you can't drive a slow car fast. Its nice to have that option if you need it.
