Mountain bike in a Model 3 boot ?

Yes, I transport my size large 29er mountain bikes in my model 3 with no problems. Just remove the front wheel and should fit in fine with the seats folded. To make it easier I use 2 large sheets of cardboard. One in the trunk already, one I pull out about 1/3 put the bike on top then slide in...

    TMPS calibrate takes how long?

I think you need 20 minutes, all above a certain speed. I fitted some new aftermarket wheels with new TPMS sensors a couple of weeks ago. My first 20-minute drive did not reset the sensors and I was concerned I had the wrong tpms sensors. However, the second 30 minute trip did the trick and...

To much rock noise from underbelly of vehicle.

Yes, I am also in Alberta and the stone and rock noise is much louder than my previous Volvo. It is not a lack of an ICE to drown out the noise, I think just less sound deadening material used.

Whether to consider a Model Y for Off-Road and in deeper snow ?

If air suspension becomes an option that might help. If the Y front undertray is anything like it is on the Model 3 I'd suggest lots of caution. There are many accounts of them becoming ripped and damaged. Driving through water can do it, so I suspect snow would too. Undercarriage Composite Tray...

    Battery depletion in winter

Yes, heating the vehicle to a comfortable temperature along with reduced battery effectiveness due to the cold does have a dramatic impact on range. It was -25C to -35C here all week in Alberta and I get only 25% to 50% of the posted range, People will suggest turning down the heat and using the...

Bummed about Orange Peel on P3D+, Correctable?

Do not worry about it, just drive it. You will pick up some stone chips and door dings soon enough anyway!

18" Aero vs 20" Performance: Ride Quality, comfort, noise etc

My service center was kind enough to arrange a test drive of a model 3 performance on 20" wheels back to back with an AWD on 18's. Getting out of one and driving the other on the same 10km loop was very different. As expected the performance model is much firmer and harsher on poor surfaces. I...

Current P3D-/stealth pricing and availability for Canada

It was $2,000 and also provided track mode, so it seems good value compared to the recent pay for a boost option that only takes an AWD partway to a Performance and does not add track mode.

    Front under tray - fragile?

I am guessing snow would be just as bad, if not worse. It is snowing pretty good here in Canmore today, I think I will use my wife's Subaru instead.

Current P3D-/stealth pricing and availability for Canada

I bought a Stealth Performance in Alberta, this august. At the time I only had the choice of 2. One in Vancouver, one in Calgary. They shipped the Vancouver car to Alberta for me that had the spec I wanted. So, they do exist in Canada, but choice and availability is limited.

Things that could be improved on your 3

Yes, I miss the adaptive cruise control on my Volvo. Over 120,000 miles of perfect operation and no phantom braking. I miss the deep Recarco seats and chunky, heated steering wheel too.
