I've had the M3 for about a week now. All seems to go well except for a few issues with the charging port: 1. The mobile app keeps saying the charge port is open even though it's not. 2. The button on the supercharger connector doesn't open the charge port. Anyone else having similar issues?

IIRC, the "rated miles" does change based on driving pattern. The "ideal miles" option doesn't, which is the same as displaying kWH. But I'd rather not have to do that conversion in my head.

That's not really true though.... Rated miles is an estimate that varies based on the energy efficiency of the car. But kWH is the absolute capacity of the battery that is independent of how efficient the car is. How much energy you have left (within ~1% for measurement accuracy) isn't a guess.
