Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

@SwissCanuck no issues pumping up the volume really loudly. @sygyzy So if you look back at my post with the pictures, you'll see the two plugs. On the right hand plug, the two wires are just loose and have the ends cut off. Lets call these A & B. On the left plug, the wires (lets call them C &...

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

I might be rambling to myself here, but in the event someone else searches for this problem and stumbles across this thread: It's fixed. I had a closer look at the harness where it plugs into the ECU. On pulling back the wrapping, I found this: Take a guess what those two wires on the right...

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

Recently I started looking at wiring diagrams, and theorised that maybe Tesla have moved the voice to mostly come out of the centre speaker, with some of the remaining sounds coming out of the other speakers. Testing that theory today, I bypassed the Hansshow harness at the MCU, and voice came...

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

For people with the Hansshow upgrade and no issues with sound - two questions: Do you have a single or dual DSP setup? If it's a single DSP setup, could you use the software on Hansshow's GitHub to export the configuration and upload it somewhere?

Model 3 RWD Standard to Premium Audio Subwoofer - Hansshow Version A - Detailed Installation

I'm one of the affected owners with the Hansshow audio upgrade kit including sub. I think it's the version F - I'm not sure - I don't have my copy of the receipt in my email. I would steer clear of buying this or any other harness until the manufacturer has made it clear they're not affected...

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

That article seems a bit sensationalist. I'm more inclined to think they just changed the speakers from which the voice comes out, and that Hansshow took the product down as people are inevitably going to complain when the kit they just bought is muffling the sound. I would not be surprised if...

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

I'm hoping for a fix that doesn't involve removing the speaker upgrade. The best outcome would be Tesla making the change optional. Failing that, some kind of harness modification which allows us to "pipe" the missing channel into another.

Different car, but I have the same issue with the same software version here. As I'm running a sound upgrade, the nav audio's useless.

Navigation voice with Hansshow audio upgrade muffled since 2023.26.7 upgrade

Has anyone noticed that since the 2023.26.7 software update that the navigation audio is muffled? I've got a Hansshow audio upgrade kit installed. Everything is perfect other than this. if I had to guess, I would say the audio channel used to output voice has been changed, and I need to change...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

Pretty easy. The kit includes a USB cable to hook up to the DSP - it's just the standard A to B cable used by printers, scanners, etc. The software is available here: GitHub - Hansshow/Model-3-Audio-Verision-E-DSP-software: Hansshow Model 3 SR Premium Audio Upgrade Version E DSP software (Only...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

So I've changed something I didn't expect to help - the master volume. The music is still full but the chimes are no longer blasting my ears so hard. Here's a screenshot from the Hansshow software after the change: I changed the master vol down to -16.5db, adjusted the in-car EQ a little and...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

If Swamprat's experience is anything to go by, then perhaps I should use the DSP software to find and fiddle with the levels of each channel to figure out which channel(s) the chimes are being played on. Maybe I can bring that level down, and compensate using the EQ? If there's an issue caused...

    Hansshow Audio Upgrade? (SR+)

I installed the version F kit on my 2019 a few weeks ago, and it has been great with the exception of the INFERNALLY LOUD CHIMES. Even with Joe mode on they're intolerably loud - which is a shame because the improvement that the kit made to the car's sound was dramatic. A few...

Frunk hooks for Model 3 are apparently no longer a thing...

Okay, this is a bit later than I had intended. This is printed using PLA on a Creality CR-10S Pro. The texture definitely doesn't match but functionally, it works great. It might match a little better with ABS but I didn't get around to trying a print with ABS filament.

Frunk hooks for Model 3 are apparently no longer a thing...

I printed HappyPEJ's hooks a little while ago and compared them with the factory items. They look really good but without the same plastic type they will look non-OEM. I'll put some photos up tonight.

Not strictly. Myself, and a guy I know both have SR+s with 2019.36.2.1. Teslafi, last I checked, showed a P with it in NSW, too. The number of AU/NZ cars that got 36.2.1 appears to be very small, overall.

I took my car in to a Tesla repairer on Wednesday to fix some issues identified during delivery - a large paint scratch on the bumper, a chip on a door and a misalignment of one of the boot arms. I picked it up yesterday, and it looks great now. Very happy with how it turned out.

There are no doubt flaws in the system, but it's not that simple. Deliveries have been scheduled and started so we're and and more likely to see walkups get VINs and invoices sooner and sooner as the backlog shrinks. Secondly, each state has independent stock , so a 2019 reservation holder...
