New Raven X P100D: Initial Delivery & Ownership Experience (& gripes)

After some back and forth with Tesla they were very helpful and agreed to switch the trim, fix the sill, wheel defect, door seal and correct the boot/trunk alignment. It feels a bit pedantic going into small details about it being just-so, but then I remind myself what I paid for it... Dropped...

    Chrome delete, Plastidip or wrap

Plasti-DIp here. 3 cans worth to do back and sides. Fairly painless - make sure you rub down well with some proper alcohol to clean surface first.

New Raven X P100D: Initial Delivery & Ownership Experience (& gripes)

Hi all, I put this post together just to collate my thoughts and issues with the car, as it might be of help to anyone about to collect. Firstly I should say I absolutely love the car. Range anxiety diminishes the more you begin to understand through ownership how it all works. Performance is...

    Raven wind noise?

I saw someone create a huge improvement by adding a second surround of door seals, I think on a model 3. Wind noise around the actual car would be minimal as the drag coefficient is so low, but joints and seals might be an area would could provide significant improvement, I’d hazard probably...

    Chrome delete, Plastidip or wrap

I have a good amount of spraying experience, and having watched this video, plasti-dip by far seems the most cost effective and reasonable option, with a high quality result possible. I’ve bought the stuff to do it this week as soon as I collect the car so I’ll update as and when. It clearly...

    Raven Model X 1/4 mile and 0-60?

Incredible, thanks for this. Sounds like you had air condition on/were in hot weather also. Picking up mine this week, beyond excited

    latest (July) Tesla price changes

From what I can tell - my X as specified would now cost £115,450 if ordered today. My delivery/pickup is due next week My order is still displayed as £117,550, so a fully specced 6 seat X has gone up £2,100 from April

Model X delivery - any help / ideas?

Just to say out of nowhere my account updated with a delivery of 25th July at Heathrow - and then I got two actual phonecalls from humans at Tesla which was a novelty, regarding finalising the remainder of my payment - ha I guess that would get them moving eh. Pretty excited. A fairly long wait...

Model X delivery - any help / ideas?

To follow this up - how do you know it's on a boat?

Model X delivery - any help / ideas?

Yeah I have everything covered from my end - a finance deal waiting to attach to the sale, details from myself / licence in the system for pickup. Back in the UK now - as yet, no change.

Model X delivery - any help / ideas?

Hopefully so! I arrive home July 9th but it would be nice to have the payment in order etc as I was hoping to collect right away after returning. With no means of getting a bit of reassurance from a local car dealer this isn't a process I'm especially used to.

Model X delivery - any help / ideas?

I ordered my P100D X on the 25th April, a few weeks later got the order forums where I uploaded my licence photo etc. RN109331768 is the order number displayed - as yet the website still says 'We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment.' I'm sure...

    Just getting a software update...

Seems to me this is a combination of a set of nannying EU-specific laws (I normally like all this EU biz btw) directly conflicting with allowing the autopilot system to function as it should - IE restricting steering wheel movement, essentially handcuffing the system from manoeuvring cordially -...

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

Haha, point taken - but mainly: 1) I have been known to be forgetful 2) I've not yet decided where I will fit a home charger 2) My scheduling / work is pretty erratic and having a sudden full charge very close at hand is a nice peace-of-mind buffer

    Ordered an X P100D Ludicrous

Hi all, New here. Excited to say after playing with an X in a Chicago showroom, and then driving one last week by Heathrow, I’ve ordered one. I’m also planning on putting down a roadster deposit later in the year, perhaps pending a bit more info. Since then I’ve also discovered a...

I’ve just stopped in at the Hunton Park Hotel / Chandler Cross location and here it is, 16 bays. I live minutes away so this is a plus, it’s also a beautiful location to be in. Can anyone estimate a completion time from these shots?
