I had an interesting idea. Since the custom lightshow has the issues of proprietary music that must be synced withe the .FSEQ show, maybe LiveXLive/Slacker could be used instead of a local file since all cars have it. What do you think @TeslaBC

I would think alpha is "feature complete" I.E. all new features added except regression in other areas bad enough it needs fixed. Just my thoughts anyways :)

I hope not... While pressing the button can be annoying, the car calling your boss (for instance) when you mention their name... It's the future if butt dialing...

That's funny, never thought of that issue. My issue is that my wife will start talking right when I press the voice button.. Doh. I guess I could say something first but usually my car figures it out anyways (somehow).

Didn't think of that issue! In any case just trim the last 10 seconds off and hopefully the xLights sequence will be the same with minimal changes. Good luck.

Yes.. The other poster @SpeedyEddy was making that suggestion to Tesla. It's not implemented yet. Also those two light shows where very good!

Another two thoughts... Firstly did you change the timescale to I believe 20ms per Github Instructions? And secondly you could always try the example light show... That would prove the files and drive are correct... They seam to be per your response so maybe the XLights setup...

That should be ideal. That's the ideal surface for FLIR and I suspect it would be similar for Lidar. I'm not an expert, just my observation from a similar technology :)

No... The 3D model is a model S but the setup is for all Tesla's. You'll need to read the instructions on what lights apply. For instance only model S has certain door handles and only model X has falcon wing doors. The chart on Github spells this out perfectly. The bigestest think to look...

I've seen in previous version(s) before 10.8 but I don't recall if it was in 10.5 or 10.6.1 that I've seen it respond to emergency lights.

Your 100% correct there. You need to pay more attention than just driving yourself when on FSD. You need to watch for what others are doing and anticipate what FSD might do at all times! That's the main reason it's not for everyone.

Since you are leasing, doesn't seam to make sense as you could just get the subscription once FSD is rolled out to everyone, not just the test group. Just my thoughts as I never investigated leasing a Tesla and don't know the price difference between FSD and non FSD.
