    Priority Given to MS&X Owners

I'm hoping that this goes for people who have owned as well. I had S #2108 before we moved from Canada to New Zealand. At the time with warranty, service, and support in question in taking the car with us along with a massive tuition bill for my wife entering med school we chose to sell it...

Drafty Cabin - Report issues here please!

We saw a front windshield fogging issue during our first winter but this was rectified with the front grille retrofit that production cars received and changes to the defrost controls in software updates. Outside of that no unreasonable drafts to report from what I recall, even at -20C in range...

    Model S Signature Red - S2108 - Canada - 38,500km - $85k - SOLD

Q: Why should I buy a Signature edition? Signature owners know how special this car and company are as they have been committed for quite some time. The production run had a lot of oversight from the engineering team and Elon himself which has resulted in a fantastic experience. When...

    Pre-Owned MS Pricing

Haven't had any major issue so far - only things done to the car are the regular service bulletins when I brought it in for the annual service and winter tire swap. Compared to what I've heard others dealing with she seems to be built right as far as I can tell (I'm not a car guy though). It...

Model S Signature Red - S2108 - Canada - 38,500km - $85k While normally I would tell you that selling this car would be the last thing I would do we recently received news that my wife was accepted into med school in New Zealand. With $250,000 of tuition fees headed our way not to mention a...

    Pre-Owned MS Pricing

Has anyone seen whether there is a premium for a Signature edition? My wife just got into med school and we are shipping off to New Zealand in February. I'm looking to post S2108 up soon with around 38,000km (mostly highway) on it.

Ontario - Poking the MPPs and HMS Host about ONroute Superchargers

I just sent this off to my MPP, the Minister of Transportation (Glen Murray) and the ONroute contact - hope others will consider something like this as well to poke the province to take Tesla up on the Supercharger program: Ted, Sylvia, Glen, As stakeholders in the onROUTE public-private...

    Firmware 4.5

Bluetooth still an issue 4.5 came down on Friday night. Noticed today that Bluetooth is still unstable - has been since 4.4. At present it's still stuck in "Bluetooth is Initializing" mode until I reboot the touchscreen. Will see if it's randomly rebooting and screeching at me this week...

Can't get Virgin Radio on TuneIn radio in Montreal

I wrote to TuneIn 2-3 months back because I was trying to pull in a few New Zealand stations without any luck. The frustrating part is there is no user feedback about issues playing - just the spinning circle of death. No response... I should probably just write ownership and see if they take...

    407 ETR Transponders

I had quite the back-and-forth with 407 ETR escalating to the Office of the President before they would flag my Model S to ensure video toll charges would not be applied. INRIX Traffic Data for Tesla Model S

From my experience the traffic data accuracy is quite different between what I see on the Model S and INRIX on my Windows Phone. INRIX has quite a bit more detail where as I'd classify the MS traffic data as optimistic (i.e. the route I travel is more green than it really is).

    Winter Ice Adventure

While up in Minden at the winter driving course it was between -17C and -20C at times - we only had a 12A/110V outlet available and it gave us +1km range after nearly three hours of charging. My guess is all of the energy was being used to keep the battery warm. I'd agree that somewhere around...

    Extreme Range Saving Tips

We avoid cruise for a few reasons: snowy, curvy and hilly roads would have made for spikes in throttle at all the wrong times. We felt the need to carefully maintain handling because of the road conditions while conserving every last drop of energy in case we needed to find a safe place to stop...

    Scary range anxiety day!

What we saw today is that a 110V/12A did little to nothing to increase range for at least 2 hours of being plugged in when temps are -15C or below. In retrospect it might have been better for us to just get in the car and drive rather than wait the 2-3 hours with the car sitting idle, cold...

Do any Ontarians have a green license plate?

I've got GVAB 577 so I can use the HOV lanes on the 403/QEW. Cuts down on the tolls paid to the 407 ETR (they waste our dollars on crappy customer service anyway). It sucks they won't do personalized ones though.

    Extreme Range Saving Tips

We're in Minden, Ontario at a winter driving course. The cold this morning chewed a lot of range off the battery on the way up and they only have a 110V/15A circuit here where we can charge and are only seeing 2 km/hr of charge at the moment. The town was supposed to have a 240V/40A circuit...

    Canadian Signature discussion

When the car is cold you also use a lot more energy for the first few km's while it heats up the battery and the car. Today I was pushing 400+ Wh/km coming out of the Burlington Go Train Station after the car spent the afternoon in the parking lot.
