Opti-cost pro plus vs System X Diamond

No paint coating will prevent or reduce the damage from a door ding. Some of the ceramic coatings advertising protection against scratches/rocks etc is total BS.

Anyone done PPF for Model 3?

Finally caved in and got mine done. Going on a long road trip up to the Canmore. Very happy with the results and logistics they provided. I had a Gyeon ceramic coating on mine, buffed that off to ensure the Xpel would stick. Bunch of the local vancouver model 3 facebook owners have gone to HAV...

It's about $250-$300 depending on what superchargers you are using. They were pretty conservative removing the KM credits.

    BC and (new) Referral Program

Wow, put down the pitch forks. Defiantly a glitch in the app. It’s a long weekend, maybe a patch is coming this week. Spoke to 4 other model 3 owners at the mills supercharger and we all had our credits still. Ymmv for now

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

Not sure if that really happened, no one posted their final MVPA showing 12%. The online account/draft order details was always miscalculating. It's a $4500 federal rebate ;)

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

Flipside is people who had orders with $5k BC rebate and then the Fed rebate kicked in, bonus $5k @ May 1st. Agreed, they had to eventually change the amount or simply end the program once all the budgeted $ ran out. Can't please everyone

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

Can’t blame Tesla on this one except being able to produce cars that people want and can deliver. Govt decided to do this on weekend, so they wouldn’t get to much flack and leave the mess with dealers. Tesla doesn’t control policy Ask anyone in Ontario when the $13k incentive got pulled by...

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

They can’t reserve it, it becomes even a bigger logistics challenge. They reserve it once the car is done Nvis import. Too many variables before the car lands in Canada. The govt policy works if any Manufacturer had local inventory of cars. But it doesn’t mesh with the way Tesla orders are done

They prob make more commission on the replacement insurance than anything. The website doesn't explain much either for something that expensive.

“Free Supercharger miles will apply to any vehicles on the same account, and will expire 6 months after the miles are added. Each additional referral will extend the expiration date by 6 months.” Mine is showing 7500km+7500km minus the 600km I've used so far

I No, you can’t buy insurance until the car is transferred to you. Either dealer to you or private seller to you. Just get the bcaa quote ahead of time, see the insurance thread, get basic and then call bcaa after.

Vancouver\BC May\June Deliveries - Fixing issues, or refusing delivery after completing paperwork?

I didn't notice a couple of things on delivery day. Trunk wasn't lined up 100%, so opening and closing it is bit sticky. The rear glass has a tiny spot where it's delaminating. Arrange a service request on the app, and had it looked it at the 4th store, they are replacing the glass and...

Do you mean in your Tesla account? It does ask for proof of insurance but that doesn’t apply in BC. You can upload a ICBC logo file like many have in that section.

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

This is from the Tesla team member that applies for each CEV rebate manually on the dealer portal. The car must have it's NVIS documentation submitted for import before they can request the funds. That means the car is in logistics transport from the Cali. $5m will last until June 20th, they...

I think the mothership has called in backup support for the local OA's. I didn't bother hounding anyone, they don't know where inventory really is until it shows up at the staging lot. Even the DA's from Toronto are shocked on the volume of orders right now. Having a VIN doesn't change...
