I'm selling a used Chademo adapter. Price: $500 shipped
I bought it and used a few times on the road. I have no use for it anymore since I bought the CCS Adapter.
This is for the Teslas with no CCS charger.
There's actually a better way. Create a dummy Tesla account and provide it to Harum.io. I was able to get mine that way without giving them my "real" account.
Anyone has the default Tesla height for front and back. I had my coilovers installed last month. I told the shop not to lower but for some reason they still did. I'll bring it back to them to raise it up as I keep hitting the parking blocks or scrapping the bottom.
Thanks
I got my car from a guy not wanting his reservation. It's actually surprisingly easy. All he had to do was to call his SA saying that he wanted to transfer the car to me and gave the SA my phone number. One key thing though: I already had my reservation number and our prices were the same.
So...
Are you sure you have the Cord Mobile Connector? Model Y comes with a Gen 2 mobile connector (the $275 one). The difference is that the more expensive one comes with the 14-50 plug and 40amp max charge while the standard one max charge is only 32amp.
The charging station has ChadeMo and CCS ports. I bought the ChadeMo from Tesla for $400. It'll be worth it in 4 months since I calculate my charging cost at home is around $100/ month :D
Near my work, there's a free Chademo 50kwh charger. I usually go there, eat lunch and charge.
Anyone know if there's any long term effect on the model Y being charged at 100-140mi/h nearly daily?
Updated: I got my LR7 white/white last Thurs in Costa Mesa, CA. I am not too picky but the car is near perfect, I didn’t see any major imperfection.
There’s tiny hole on the back seat that my wife noticed and will have the chair replaced this Thurs.
One other thing is that when I turn, there’s a...
I am upgrading to Model Y so I am selling my model S.
It's a 2016 Tesla Model S 70. Gray ext and int.
Autopilot 1 with convenient features.
100% SOC is 219mi. 90% is 197mi.
Specs sheet is included.
Transferable free supercharging for life.
Transferable free premium connectivity for life.
Brand...
Then you should get the loan with DCU. I applied at DCU with the full intention to get the loan with them if Tesla wouldn't budge.
Or you can email [email protected] to try your luck with a different rep.
Data point: LR 7 seat white/white/19"/no hitch/no FSD. Orange County.
Ordered on 3/7/2021. My SA told me I should get it at the end of March but so far no change on the Tesla website.
I think it's worth it to wait. We're not talking months, only a few weeks difference. Unless the discount is significant (it's not), why would you risk losing some cool features such as double panel or heated steering wheel (and possible larger battery) just to get it a few weeks earlier. Plus...
Something to do with a software hack to make the MCU recognize the new battery. You have to upgrade the battery first then the MCU. Since the MCU upgrade is done by Tesla, they can program anything they want.
First of all, we're not even sure if the law passes. It's been proposed every single Congress but got nowhere.
Second, even if it passes, Tesla will probably know before us and increase the price to keep some of the money for itself, like it already increased the price of MY by $1k.
I'd say if...
Did the demo car have the updated center console and heated steering wheel? I am seeing a demo one which has the same exact config of my order and considering getting that one. Is it easy to switch to the demo? Do you lose the $100 deposit?
I didn't talk with the DCU rep. I sent them emails. I then sent Tesla the email saying my application was approved and another email rep saying the rate would be 1.74% after all the contingents. Tesla matched with that info. I think it may be ymmv depending how lenient the Tesla rep is also.
There's a list of groups you can join to get DCU membership. One of them has $10 fee for a year, forgot the name. Just donate $10 and come back to DCU to apply for a membership.
I ordered on 3/7 LR AWD White/white to be picked up in Costa Mesa. Still no movement yet. Would the latter delivery come with the 82kwh battery instead of the 77 one? :D
Anyone know a shop in Southern CA that does the swap? I have a S 70 and would like to upgrade to 90, 100 without losing my unlimited supercharger perk.
Update: I emailed [email protected] and inquired if they would match the DCU rate. Within a few hours, they approved my loan of 53k for 72 mos at 1.74%, no need for DCU direct deposit requirements, woohooo.
DCU offered 1.74% vs Tesla's 2.19% offered to me. Anyone know how I can inform Tesla I won't use their finance? I don't see there's any button on the RN page.
I don't get the extreme critics. Yes, the suspension is harsh but it's nowhere near uncomfortable. I have driven many cars, my current is a S (2016, no air suspension), Lexus RX350 and ES350. I also drive my mother's Honda CRV and sister's Honda Accord. I'd say that the Lexuses are definitely...
My wife too would not be comfortable with anything other than Lexus. :) I wish they can make a suspension for Tesla that feels like Lexus and I'd pay big bucks for that.
I believe they can pass more than one reconciliation per year. First one would be the stimulus. Second might be infrastructure and reconciliation will only require simple majority.
Remember the Dems haven’t hold the Congress and the WH for a very long time so obviously the previous bills would not pass. It’s different this time. They know that they may have 2 years to do this.
I wonder if we can buy a new one now and still claim the tax full credit next year (if the bill...
