I believe NOA is part of Enhanced Autopilot which is a paid upgrade if the original owner did not purchase it. Take a look in your Tesla account online to see if there is an upgrade option available.

I actually looked up how much CO2 is put into the environment per kWh vs the amount of fuel burned by an ICE. I believe it was around 35%. This also takes into account that your energy provider burns 100% coal, which is becoming less the case as time goes on.

I haven’t used the “400 kWh” of Free Supercharging credit yet to test. We drove the car from Florida to Michigan before the car was fully transferred into our name and we charged no problem (free) the whole trip.

No it was an actual dealership that had one. Unfortunately, there’s no window sticker, promise of Supercharging, etc. The car was previously sold through Tesla in 2015 as EV CPO had a history of options, which shows SC01 Free Supercharging.

I think you are correct that it was January/February 2017. Regardless, my model is a 2014 and I was expecting to have it.

Curious about the option code lookup. My particular VIN pops up and shows Free Supercharging, but pulling my codes for my car now, it shows Pay Per Use Supercharging.

Based on Elon's claims, the Model 3 should be worth more as it will be able to be part of the Tesla RoboTaxi Network, earning money for the owner, if that's something your friend is open to. Of course, he should not make his sole decision based on a claim from Musk.

I would think that on route battery warm up would be active whether you're stopping at a SC for 20 mins or if it is your final destination. Ultimately, this feature is to reduce charge times at SC's regardless if its your final destination.
