I’m busy updating to .7 ...will test in the morning

I have .5 on my m3. Do any of you with M3’s have the additional visualizations? Road markings, traffic lights, stop streets, garbage bins? All I see are the traffic cones from the previous releases...

So does anyone know how/were this is measured - how difficult can it be?

Remember the inverter has Firmware too... so different FW could make it a “different” inverter - just saying

I concur, - I have it on solely for the reason that at the office I park agains a wall.. and CREEP mode allows much more precise control, with the foot on the brake, as opposed to trying to nudge the accelerator to move my expensive bumper closer to an immovable brick wall ;-)

you have that and it works pretty well... one of the buttons on your steering wheel... same goes for the setting of the speed when in autopilot or should I say Traffic Aware Cruise Control - just scroll one of those buttons up and town and voila...

I also checked and searched even just before arriving at the Delivery centre, and it wasn't in source

Had some questions on the length of the Type 2 cable. It measures 4.5 meters from tip to tip... but I'm assuming it is a 4.0m cable (probably excluding the connectors, looking at the label on the packaging...)

Yes.. the problem is that there are no fuses (as far as I can see or find) in the Model 3 for the 12V driven accessories... that's not a major issue as what that probably implies is that those accessories are supplied by a control unit that then does the "fusing" electronically internally.. i.e...

I particularly did not want the 20" wheels nor the lowered suspension... I would always have the option to buy other wheels but changing the suspension seems like just too much trouble... (not to mention the insurance implications)

Also found and ordered a nice 3 (well actually 4) port powered USB hub on amazon - will route the cable along the console side panel That should drive the wireless charging pads and something else and leave my 2 USB drives open for dashcam and something else...

Thanks, does not seem too difficult - the one side seems to cater for cable routing - I guess it will be our RHD driver side.. (doubt whether Tesla would mirror that in the LHD vs RHD design)

Does anyone know how the 12V Power Socket and ISB ports are protected from shorts etc? No where in the manual do I see anything about fuses anywhere... Possibly electronically “fused” (over-current protected) by the control unit that supplies them?

Not sure what you mean.. I'm just looking to power a USB Hub (some hubs are bus powered and other's can take external power so the combined power the Hub can deliver is more than the power output of the USB socket it plugged in to.) Of course one could attack the problem the other way around...

It seems like the M3 has only one 12V power socket... but it is nice and beefy - 16A! Does anyone know if anyone has taken that forward towards the front USB ports? I'm thinking a Powered USB HUB... This would give you much more juice for the wireless chargers and Sentry mode Flash drives...

And Tesla phoned - car is insured as of midnight - ready for pickup!
